@AliceFromQueens@MarcGoldwein Could such a person not be aptly described as having reliably poor judgment? ADHD and an inability to assess how he'll be perceived by others might contribute to his poor judgment, but do the specific causes matter? He fails to avoid predictably bad outcomes.
@AliceFromQueens@MarcGoldwein idk. How much more is there to know after learning the prominent tattoo on your chest might bear some resemblance to a Nazi symbol? Good judgment dictates that you don't mess around with that. At the first hint of anything like that, you go do your homework and then cover it up.
@MarcGoldwein@AliceFromQueens Seems like just a slightly different framing of this guy has judgment so poor that he got a Nazi insignia tattoo'd on his body and then didn't have it removed or covered up even after knowledge of exactly what it was became thoroughly undeniable.
@Dale_Chu@chronicle I'm pretty confident that the vast majority of voters could make wildly better decisions without ever reading the text of a single bill for their entire lives.
@iowahawkblog They played Moneyball. They identified a market inefficiency in that 5th- and 6th-year seniors and grad students were eligible and way undervalued. Kudos to them.
@EudaimoniaEsq A litigator should wear loafers (or monk straps) as you often have to remove your shoes to enter a courthouse. A lot of style traditions have their origin in practical concerns like this, and where today's reality makes the tradition impractical the style rules should adapt.
There are only 4 states (and one district) that a majority of Americans report having been to:
- Florida (64%)
- New York (58%)
- DC (54%)
- Texas (54%)
- California (53%)
5% of Americans say they have never left their home state.
@Vern_Funquist@CBSSports@JoeyMcGuireTTU Who cares what their schedules look like?! If you call out some other team for any reason and they call you on it, then man up and play. Either keep your mouth shut or be ready to play.
@M_A_N_ofLetters@bballbreakdown Itโs not a moving screen. Thatโs down blocking. A moving screen has been legal in the NBA for a while. But if weโre going to do this, letโs get some O-Linemen in there.
@Vern_Funquist What? Texas *had* nothing to prove. But then Sark opened his mouth to put down a specific team that was minding its own business in its own conference, and now theyโve called him on it. Tech didnโt start this. Itโs too late to shut up, now you gotta put up. Itโs Bush League.
@secnumbersguy Tech was quietly minding their own business until Sark opened his mouth and now theyโre calling him on it. Put up or shut up. You canโt call someone out and then refuse to play because itโs not convenient for you. Bush League. Charmin soft. Embarrassing. They should be ashamed.
