Prilepin-based Alternating Volume System (PAVS) is something we created and have adopted b/c in the high school setting on block schedule, we have LONG periods of training. We are doing this with all classes.
Adding @bighousepower Peak Intent Velocity Training (PIVoT) method allows us to train at prescribed loads and drive intent at high intensity and volume in the off season. Building work capacity and driving intent is a major win.
PIVoT was a huge part of inseason training for @DormanBaseball and @DormanFootball last year. We will expand PIVoT this year to more teams.
