Though the fact that gold has been used as a currency for thousands of years suggests that people like it enough that it’s always going to be worth something, so maybe intrinsic value is >0, but at the end of the day it’s only worth what someone will pay for it
@TradeQuantiX@GuyTalksFinance Businesses are economically productive assets. They make things and sell them for money, ideally at a price that exceeds their costs, thus generating cash. You could own shares of the company, never sell them, and still make money over time thru cash flow. That is intrinsic value
