The Analysis Behind RJ Moore’s Ranking (No.54 in the SC Next 100) and his Commitment to Rutgers.

First, Moore has a smooth jumper from both deep and mid-range. He shows flashes of scoring prowess.

His best scoring weapon is his rhythm dribble pull up. He is decisive with the length and size at 6’7”.

He has also demonstrated the ability to shoot on the move off the catch. He could be more aggressive when driving to the rim by lowering his body to create leverage. This would add more free-throw attempts. His shooting percentages have been inconsistent, but they should improve with better shot quality and more game-like repetitions.

Moore has the scoring tools and potential to develop into a major wing threat in time and contribute immediately at Rutgers. His father was a defensive star and champion at UConn.

Braydon Browning (6’2 2029 George Washington HS, WV) Braydon can flat out shoot it hitting on a high percentage of his shots from all levels. He plays off the threat of his jumper attacking an aggressive closeout with quick rips and a nice burst attacking space and getting to the rim. He’s a crafty finisher and is able to maneuver between and around defenders, change his shot and still convert at a high rate. Fantastic touch! Braydon likes to initiate contact often backing his man down a couple dribbles before spinning toward the rim to finish. He hits the step back and dribble pull-up at a high rate. Tyreese Gaither, Jr (5’7 2028 Platt HS, CT) dazzles with his ball handling wizardry and explosive quickness while proving an impact shot maker and play creator. Widely considered one of New England’s top playmakers he uses his quick, tight handle featuring knee buckling crossover combinations, between the legs dribbles, in and outs and hang dribbles to stifle many defenders before exploding past them in the blink of an eye. Tyreese plays off jabs nicely and uses his low center of gravity effectively. His abrupt stops and explosive starts make him an almost elusive playmaker while his keen vision and impressive passing skills makes him a game changing offensive weapon. Tyreese can get his shot off the bounce using fade jumpers and step backs nicely but his ability to stop on a dime and hit the dribble pull-up allows him to create necessary space and score over length comfortably. He’s also a threat off the ball with impressive perimeter shot making consistency and range extending well beyond the three point arc. A fantastic student athlete who excels in the classroom with a 3.9 GPA! Tyreese is super shifty with great quickness and ability to change speeds drastically yet effortlessly. He also has a 40” vertical so he can be a factor in a variety of ways as he proved during the Paul Biancardi Basketball Camp at Randolph Macon College where he was one of the events standout performers! @PaulBiancardi @tytooshifty5
