Brandon was 9 when this project was proposed. He was 13 when it was supposed to be built.

Morgan State freshman Brandon McMurrin was killed while scooting home from work by the driver of an SUV on Washington St, where a protected bike lane has been promised since 2017.

At the budget hearing when we learned the project was delayed another year we demanded that decision be revisited.

Maryland is accelerating nearly $25 million to jump-start a new bus division - the linchpin of the BMORE Bus plan and a major step toward expanding service for the workers, students, and families who depend on it every day. At today's Bike to Work Week press conference, Bikemore Executive Director Jed Weeks, @mayorbmscott, and @bmorecitydot Director Veronica McBeth announced the city's commitment to build and enhance 17 miles of all-ages bike lanes and trails over the next 3 years.
