This morning Superintendent Dr. Josh Barron welcomed faculty and staff to the first in-service.

Our freshmen arrive for the first day of high school on Friday, all students come Monday. Like Dr. Barron, we're all excited to get the school year started -- welcome to 2022-2023!

Congratulations to Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction (and former Shepard principal) Dr. Josh Barron on becoming our new Superintendent!

Board voted unanimously last night to hire Dr. Barron, who will succeed Dr. Ty Harting at the end of the academic year.

The #CHSD218 Skyward system was successfully upgraded today. Skyward is now running on a new server which will make the system more robust and reliable. The #D218Tech team is continually looking for ways to improve our technology for staff, students, and families!

Principal Mike Jacobson will walk 24 hours NYD to raise $$ for the scholarship fund. "I want to make sure every student walks out of Richards with something for college," he said.

District 218 is taking an adaptive pause on in-person learning, due to the rising numbers of cases in the area. On Monday Nov 2nd, all classes will be back to remote learning on Zoom 4x a week.
