This morning staff gathered in the PAC to surprise Principal Dr. Mike Jacobson, who will leave HLR to become Executive Director of Student, Family and Community Engagement for D218.
So many signed this beautiful poster thanking him for all he gave to the Richards community.
This morning Superintendent Dr. Josh Barron welcomed faculty and staff to the first in-service.
Our freshmen arrive for the first day of high school on Friday, all students come Monday. Like Dr. Barron, we're all excited to get the school year started -- welcome to 2022-2023!
Congratulations to Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction (and former Shepard principal) Dr. Josh Barron on becoming our new Superintendent!
Board voted unanimously last night to hire Dr. Barron, who will succeed Dr. Ty Harting at the end of the academic year.
The #CHSD218 Skyward system was successfully upgraded today. Skyward is now running on a new server which will make the system more robust and reliable. The #D218Tech team is continually looking for ways to improve our technology for staff, students, and families!
#D218Tech will be migrating Skyward to a new server in June. #CHSD218 staff, students, and families should see improvements in Skyward performance next school year, especially during periods of peak usage.
