🚨BACKPACK LEADS TOKENIZED STOCK HOLDER GROWTH!
@Backpack added 16,300 new tokenized stock holders over the past 24 hours, more than any other issuer, per @RWAFoundation_ via @tokenterminal.
Backpack has been issuing 1:1 redeemable stocks on Solana that trade around the clock, more real users are choosing it.
Honoured and thrilled to see all of the energy from builders on top of Derive v3.
V3 was made for builders. Composable onchain options is a blue ocean for innovative, powerful new products that are an upgrade over the traditional financial system.
In terms of the areas I am most excited about - it's products that reach new audiences, people who have never traded an option in their lives. We now have the infrastructure to build for them.
A few areas I’d love to see people building:
• Structured products that use options to generate yield on RWAs.
• Hyperlocal/regional user interfaces that tailor the trading experience and GTM to specific geographies.
• Simple UIs and novel retail trading experiences that reach people on TikTok and YouTube who have never touched a wallet or CEX in their lives. There is a much bigger world out there than CT.
• Social trading using options. This is possibly one of the biggest unexplored areas - every options trade is a specific story about the future, and you can tell richer, more interesting stories with payoff structures that simply aren't possible with any other instrument.
Simple UX is a big part of unlocking this. But the question I'd encourage people to start with - who are the net new users you are bringing into the market and how are you actually going to reach them? I’m most excited about experiences that grow the audience for options beyond the people already trading on Derive.
As for Derive? Yes we hear all of you on the UI and user feedback. We are working on simpler, more accessible modes for Derive natively on mobile + desktop (as any complete exchange requires) - but we will not be building all of these new experiences ourselves. Our focus is building the core infrastructure and liquidity necessary to support products built using options, 24/7, on any asset.
Options are the most composable financial primitive, and I think the category stands the most to gain from migrating onchain out of any financial vertical. Push boundaries, bring in new users, and get creative - I think this is the biggest opportunity in crypto right now.
If you're building for a new audience on Derive pls get in touch, would love to hear what you're working on.
🚨ARTHUR HAYES BUYS AERO, PENDLE AND ZAMA!
@CryptoHayes purchased roughly 547,000 base:0x940181a94a35a4569e4529a3cdfb74e38fd98631 for about $460,000, 120,000 ethereum:0x808507121b80c02388fad14726482e061b8da827 for $232,000, and 3 million ethereum:0xa12cc123ba206d4031d1c7f6223d1c2ec249f4f3 for $197,000 roughly an hour ago, per @lookonchain.
The buys total nearly $890,000 across the three tokens.
Had a few users flagging a large investor wallet moving coins in the last 48hrs - can confirm this is a security precaution related to the recent hardware wallet concerns, not coins being moved and sold.

The onchain equity market is here. 24/7 on @Solana.
We’re excited to welcome Daisuke Nakagawa as Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Backpack Japan.
Few have navigated Japan's crypto regulatory landscape as extensively as Daisuke. As COO of both Kraken Japan and Binance Japan, he led licensing efforts and exchange operations in one of the world's most rigorous regulatory environments.
Welcome aboard, Daisuke!
🚨BACKPACK IS LEADING TOKENIZED STOCK ONBOARDING!
@Backpack added 56,800 tokenized stock holders over the past 7 days, more than any other issuer, per @RWAFoundation_ via @tokenterminal.
Those are addresses actually holding the equities, not just volume.
Backpack has been issuing 1:1 redeemable stocks on Solana that trade 24/7 and real users are showing up.
A new governance proposal to pursue Derive's expansion into US-regulated derivatives markets is live on the Derive forum.
Community members are encouraged to review the proposal and join the discussion: https://t.co/IuK5UPEKJZ
🚨DERIVE PROPOSES U.S. DERIVATIVES EXPANSION!
@DeriveXYZ has a new governance proposal to pursue bringing its onchain derivatives infrastructure into U.S.-regulated markets.
The international venue stays for non-U.S. users.
The proposal authorizes regulatory engagement, entity setup, and limited treasury spend on the legal and technical work.
A U.S. venue that adds volume would send more fees into the existing ethereum:0xb1d1eae60eea9525032a6dcb4c1ce336a1de71be buyback.
🚨PAPERTRADE IS ALREADY DOING INSANE NUMBERS!
@papertrade_xyz has $4.95 billion in open interest minutes after trading opened.
BTC is $1.58 billion long and $1.2 billion short. ETH is $1.54 billion long and $620 million short.
$PAPER supply is already 1.15 billion.
House funds sit at $2.67 million.
Insane for a launch.
