🚨 FROM LAST MONTH: The @HouseofRepsPH has consolidated 30 blockchain-related separate measures into a single substitute bill to produce its own version of the CADENA Act.

The House Committee on Information and Communications Technology designated House Bill No. 6235, authored by Rep. Iris Marie de Mesa Montes, as the primary working draft, which will now integrate the artificial intelligence features from Rep. Edgar Erice's "Bantay Act" and the revenue tracking requirements proposed by the committee's Vice Chair Antonino Roman III.

Take note that all the key provisions are not yet finalized, and changes can still be applied based on the committee's hearings and consultation from stakeholders and government agencies concerned.

Once finalized, the bill will move to the Committee on Appropriations to refine its funding provisions before heading to the plenary floor. 👇
