Happy times for @AllenEagleBball! Allen wins its 26th game in a row after defeating Marcus in the 6A D1 regional finals, 62-44. Antonio Shannon tallies 16 points, Deandre Thomas adds 12. Eagles headed to the state semifinals for the 1st time since 2018.

Chopped Round 6- Mystery Basket items included Ground Beef, Chocolate Chips, and Cumin 🍫
We couldn’t choose a winner this round but Luke’s meatballs & hot chocolate side deserved an honorable mention. Hunter & Amelie’s Chilis had good flavor, & Rodrigo’s pasta had potential

Chopped Round 5 Mystery basket- Sonic Strawberry Milkshake Pudding Mix, Frozen Strawberries, Earl Grey Tea, and Lucky Charms Marshmallows 🍓 Multiple students with the strawberry smoothie attempt but 2 with pancake & Rice Krispies. Winner- Acelynn or Farax

Chopped Round 4- Mystery Basket Items included Bacon, American Cheese Slice, Ranch Style Beans, and Everything Bagel Seasoning. Kenzie’s Bacon, bean, & cheese pasta was the winner but Alyssa’s potato ranchero was a close second-needed more salt and don’t cook bacon in oil! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Chopped Round 3 in Culinary! Mystery Basket Items- Molasses,Canned Pumpkin, Unsweetened Whipped Cream, Cayenne Pepper. Mostly fails 😂Lessons learned- you need to add flour to make a brownie & it takes way more sugar and spice to sweeten/flavor something than you think
