“As a father I asked most all of the "dad questions”....but I did not ask her, “Have you been to the gynecologist and are you doing self-breast exams every month?”

Sophie Cunningham, who shoots 43.4% from three, came in for the final 4:05 of the first quarter.
Then she sat through the entire second quarter, halftime, the entire third quarter, and the first 3:28 of the fourth.
She finally returned with 6:32 left and played just over three minutes before coming back out.
That is an awful way to manage a shooter.
Shooters need rhythm, touches and game flow. You cannot leave one of your best perimeter shooters sitting for more than 23 minutes of game clock, bring her back in cold, and expect her to immediately start firing and making shots at game speed.
Sophie attempted only two shots all night.
One of the WNBA's best shooters, a legitimate Sixth Woman of the Year candidate and, in my opinion, a player who should be starting, was effectively iced by her own coach. #firestephaniewhite
That is brutal rotation management.
People keep saying Trump term II is the most corrupt administration ever, so I built a model to find out if it was true.
I took the UN's definition of corruption, turned it into eight criteria and 100 points, and scored the leaders history remembers for looting their countries: Marcos, Suharto, Mobutu, Abacha, Obiang, Putin.
Then I put every president since Eisenhower on the same scale, both parties, with every exoneration counted right alongside the convictions.
Nixon scored 41 and no other American President scored over a 25.
Trump's second term scored a 91, which ties him with Suharto and Mobutu and puts him above Marcos and Abacha.
So he is not only the most corrupt president in American history. At this pace he finishes his term level with the most corrupt rulers of the last hundred years.

If you'e never read The Falling Man, you should do so. I post this on September 11th every year, and I find time to read it on this day every year. Still, in my eyes, the greatest piece of journalism I have ever read. https://t.co/gZgwzRoSgX
If you were young in 2001, or weren’t even born yet, it can be hard to imagine what 9/11 felt like. The shock of that beautiful, cloudless morning. The heartbreak of the families whose loved ones were taken with such swiftness and cruelty. The realization that the forces of malevolence and violence were closer, and the future less certain, than we knew.
But in the days that followed, we felt something else, too. Pride in the rescue workers who had rushed to the scene, and the passengers who had stormed the cockpit. Admiration for the men and women who left behind lives of comfort to serve their country. A deep resolve that nothing would break the will of a truly United States of America.
Today Michelle and I are remembering those we lost that day, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the wars that followed. We pray for their families. And we hope Americans everywhere remember the true lesson of 9/11: that we can survive even our darkest days as long as we move forward as one nation and one people.
My Lord.
@JoeBiden, 83 years old, battling Stage 4 cancer that has spread to his bones, stood for HOURS alongside @DrBiden as the names of 9/11 victims were read.
Donald Trump fell asleep at the 9/11 event at the Pentagon.
One showed respect despite his pain. The other couldn't even stay awake.
Trump is an embarrassment to the nation and the office he holds.
Really says it all.
Maybe the best piece ESPN has ever produced.
25 years after 9/11 and I still watch this at least once a year.
The story of Welles Crowther, a former Boston College lacrosse player who saved at a dozen lives.
“The Man In The Red Bandana.”
This might be the first major anniversary of 9/11 where watching the footage really feels like an older world. It was a different world. And those of us who came of age in it have an obligation to never forget what happened that day and after.
To those with no memory of 9/11, I recommend visiting the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. There were so many witnesses to this horrific crime and so many details we never discuss. Too many victims had to make the unthinkable choice about their last moments.
The last time I visited, I stopped on this testimony from a man who witnessed the moment a woman jumped to her death:
"She had a business suit on, her hair all askew. This woman stood there for what seemed like minutes and then she held down her skirt and jumped off the ledge. I thought, how human, how modest, to hold down her skirt before she jumped. I couldn't look anymore."
The other thing you see at the Memorial is just how many heroes were minted that day. How many men ran into the towers knowing they were running towards their deaths. So many people died in service of their fellow Americans that day, and their courage inspired the many men and women of my generation who decided to enlist and serve the country after watching the towers fall.
The legacy of 9/11 is the heroism of our fellow Americans. The courage of so many to lay down their lives for their neighbors. May they rest in peace and may we never forget.
Hands down the best documentary account of 9/11. Since the invention of the moving image, has there ever been a real-time historical record that approaches this? Moving, shocking, incredible.

Miley Cyrus & Dolly Parton singing I Will Always Love You x Wrecking Ball. Their last performance together and one of the greatest performances ever.
An apt day to remember that Dolly Parton once recorded a cover of Stairway to Heaven - and, in defiance of every moral law in the universe, she absolutely owned it.
Robert De Niro: “The Executive Branch has descended into a cesspool of corruption, stupidity, and cruelty led by a malignant narcissist. The Congressional Branch is a joke of course driven by fear. And the Judicial Branch, which should be the bulwark against the downfall of other branches is crumbling led by Trump’s compliant justices on the Supreme Court”
