“Welcome to the grand opening of ‘Leonardo’s Café’! 🎨☕️✨
Every week, I will be hosting a legendary artist from across the ages to share a dialogue between the brush and the soul.
Our first guest this week is the master of stone, Auguste Rodin. We explore a cosmic encounter where the enigmatic smile of the ‘Mona Lisa’ finally meets the profound silence of ‘The Thinker.’ Is it a meeting of minds, or a romance carved in time? 🎨🗿🧡”

🎭 The Barber of Seville (Il Barbiere di Siviglia)
Set in the sun-drenched city of Seville, the story unfolds like a finely tuned comedy of disguises, desire, and deception.
At its heart is Rosina, a young woman of beauty and intelligence, confined under the strict guardianship of Doctor Bartolo, an aging man who seeks to control her fortune by marrying her himself. But Rosina’s heart belongs elsewhere—to the charming and determined Count Almaviva, who refuses to be defeated by walls, rules, or social boundaries.
To reach her, the Count becomes a master of disguise, slipping into shifting identities—a poor student, a clumsy soldier, a music teacher—each attempt bringing him closer yet deeper into Bartolo’s suspicion and chaos.
Guiding the unfolding mischief is Figaro, the ever-resourceful barber of Seville, whose wit and clever schemes turn the city into a stage of orchestrated confusion and comic brilliance. He is the invisible hand weaving order through deception.
As misunderstandings multiply and secrets unravel, the rigid world of Bartolo begins to collapse under the weight of its own control. In the end, love finds its way through ingenuity and chaos, and Rosina is finally united with the Count.
A luminous comedy where disguise becomes truth, and cleverness becomes the language of freedom. 🎭✨
Enjoy the opera season as it unfolds across the streets and squares of Rome throughout this month of June—where the city itself becomes a living stage for music, laughter, and timeless storytelling.

@Timi_Kinetics Yes, I completely agree with you. Experiencing theatre in the open air and seeing history from a different perspective is truly one of the most remarkable experiences.
📍🇬🇷
“Time is not a straight line… sometimes, a single moment of fainting is enough to wake up in a world that no longer resembles your own.”
An experience that will remain etched in memory…
I watched the comedy theatre performance “Medea and Other Friends I Made in Athens” in the heart of the historic Plaka district in Athens, on an open rooftop overlooking the illuminated Acropolis.
What made the experience truly special was not only the clever idea of the play, which blends the present with Greek mythology, but also the open-air setting and the atmosphere that brings together history, theatre, and the city in a single moment.
Laughter, imagination, and an unexpected journey through time… a theatre experience unlike any other.

In The Merchant of Venice, Shakespeare did not invent the idea from nothing; he drew on many elements of his play from earlier European stories, laws, and traditions. It is likely that the idea of a creditor’s right to a debtor’s body was influenced by the ancient Roman legal heritage, including texts attributed to the Law of the Twelve Tables.
The Housemaid (2025) 🎬
At first glance, the title suggests a conventional story about a housemaid working for a wealthy family. In reality, however, it conceals something far more profound. It is a film about those pivotal moments in life that can alter our destiny entirely, pushing us into roles we never chose for ourselves.
Despite its harshness, this is less a story about crime than it is about people—about old wounds, love and possession, fear and survival. Watching it aboard a Turkish Airlines flight, surrounded by clouds and open sky, its human questions felt even more powerful: How far can a single decision, or a single circumstance, reshape the course of our lives?
A compelling psychological drama that lingers long after the credits roll. 🎞️ ✈️

(Phantom Thread - 2017 ) is not really a film about romance. It is a film about need.
It strips love of its idealized image and reveals something far more complex: the desire to be needed, to surrender, to care for someone, and to be cared for in return.
“I want you flat on your back. Helpless, tender, open with only me to help. And then I want you strong again.”
Perhaps that is the film’s most unsettling idea: true intimacy begins when we allow someone to see both our weakness and our strength.

📚A Window into the Soul of Slovenia
This beautifully curated collection of books is far more than a bookstore display; it offers a glimpse into Slovenia’s cultural identity, where literature, poetry, history, national heritage, and culinary traditions come together on a single shelf.
Among the most notable titles is Cvetje v jeseni (Flowers in Autumn) by Ivan Tavčar, one of the classics of Slovenian literature. The novel tells the story of a lawyer from the city who falls in love with a young woman from the countryside, exploring the contrast between urban life and the quiet beauty of rural Slovenia. It later became one of the country’s most beloved films.
Also featured is Vrata (The Doors) by the renowned modernist poet and playwright Dane Zajc. Its striking cover, illustrated by artist Rudi Skočir, depicts mysterious figures rendered in a surreal style, reflecting the book’s philosophical exploration of thresholds between different worlds—life and death, the inner and outer self, the known and the unknown.
At the center stands Pavliha 1968, a collection of issues from the famous Slovenian satirical magazine Pavliha. Named after a beloved folkloric trickster figure, the magazine became an important chronicle of political, social, and cultural developments in Slovenia and across Europe. This particular volume is especially significant, as it documents the transformative year of 1968, a period marked by profound social and intellectual change throughout the continent.
The display also includes a copy of the Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia, symbolizing the country’s modern statehood and national identity.
Equally telling are the books dedicated to Slovenia’s rich culinary heritage. Titles such as Slovenian Potica by ethnologist Janez Bogataj, along with Kuhinja Slovenije (The Cuisine of Slovenia) and Slovenska Kuharica (The Slovenian Cookbook), celebrate traditional recipes passed down through generations. Nearby, books devoted to wild mushrooms reflect another cherished Slovenian tradition: foraging in the forests that cover much of the country.
Together, these books tell a larger story—one of a nation that preserves its identity through language, literature, memory, food, and a deep connection to the land.

The scene is truly breathtaking.
It brings together the majestic stillness of nature and the symbolism of living legends.
Here, towering green mountains meet the tranquil waters of the lake, which resemble a vast mirror reflecting the clarity of the sky and the drifting clouds above. Yet the true heart and spirit of the scene lie in the bronze statue of an ibex (mountain goat) standing proudly upon the rock.
The image evokes the feeling of “the eternal guardian of the landscape.” With its elegant stature and head held high, the bronze creature appears to gaze over the lake with dignity and pride, as if it has watched over these waters for centuries—or as though it were a mythical protector frozen in a moment of revelation, preserving this enchanting peace from the noise and restlessness of the outside world.

📜 A Trace from Slovenia’s Cultural Memory
During my visit to Bled Castle today, I was drawn to this bronze plaque commemorating **Primož Trubar, the man widely regarded as the founder of the Slovenian literary language.
Trubar was far more than a religious reformer. He was the visionary who gave the Slovenian language its first printed voice when, in 1550, he published the first two books ever printed in Slovenian, laying a cornerstone of the nation’s cultural identity.
The plaque also marks his visit to Bled Castle in June 1561, when he stayed as a guest of Count Herbard VIII von Auersperg and preached within these historic walls that have witnessed centuries of change.
Standing before this plaque felt like more than reading a page from history; it was a brief encounter with a man whose legacy continues to live on in the language, culture, and identity of an entire nation.

🎶 Where the Record Spins… and the Stories Begin
In one of the vibrant artistic streets of Ljubljana, Recordslo stands like a time capsule preserving the memory of music from fading away. From the very first glance at its window filled with vinyl records and vintage posters, visitors realize they are not entering an ordinary shop, but stepping into another world where sound, nostalgia, and passion coexist.
What truly makes this place special is not only its remarkable collection of rare vinyl records, but also the spirit that lives within its walls. It serves as an informal gathering place for artists, musicians, and music lovers, where casual conversations often evolve into discussions about a rare album, a historic recording, or a melody that continues to resonate long after its era has passed.
Surrounded by antique brass gramophones and modern turntables, and framed by album covers that tell entire chapters of musical history, visitors feel as though they are moving through different eras within a single space. Here, records are not merely sold; stories are exchanged, memories are revived, and inspiration is often found.
It is a place where music meets its people, and where every record becomes more than a recording—it becomes a small fragment of time still spinning gently, carrying the heartbeat of an entire era.

The Trance of Delicious Passion 🐝
It does not seem as though this bee is merely collecting nectar; rather, it appears to have surrendered completely to the enchantment of the flower. It has plunged so deeply into its heart that most of its body has disappeared from sight, leaving only its tiny velvet-like form dusted with golden pollen, like a fragment of night sprinkled with sunlight.
Its little legs dangle freely in the air, as if it has forgotten the entire world beyond these petals. There is no hurry here, no noise, no competition—only a small creature that has found its perfect moment within a blossom’s gentle embrace.
The longer one gazes at the scene, the more it feels as though the flower is not simply hosting its visitor, but cradling it with the tenderness of a mother holding a sleeping child. The grains of pollen clinging to its soft fur resemble delicate golden jewels bestowed by nature as a reward for its silent journey.
It is one of those rare moments that quietly reminds us that beauty never needs to announce itself, and that some of the world’s most important work is carried out in complete silence—inside a flower, on the wings of a tiny bee that unknowingly carries the secret of spring itself from one blossom to the next.

A Symphony of Muscle and Motion
What a scene of pure energy and motion! What we are witnessing is far more than a simple chase across muddy ground; it is a visual dialogue between three different worlds of strength, each with its own language and its own muscles telling a story.
At the forefront charges the white bull, its massive body and powerful muscles embodying the raw force of the earth itself. Every stride cuts through the mud with determination, as though it were a moving monument to instinct, endurance, and the will to break free.
Close behind comes the horse, representing an entirely different kind of power—not the power of mass, but of speed, agility, and grace. Its long, taut muscles move in perfect harmony, seemingly designed to transform energy into pure motion. It serves as the living bridge between human intention and the animal’s flight.
At the top of this dynamic composition sits the cowboy, where strength reaches its most conscious form. His muscles speak not only of physical effort but also of control, direction, and decision-making. A hand firmly holding the reins, a watchful eye, and a balanced posture amid the chaos combine to guide the entire scene.
What makes this image so compelling is the way movement flows through it like a symphony—from the rider to the horse, and from the horse to the bull—in one continuous stream of energy. It is a moment where human determination, equine agility, and animal defiance converge in a single frame, capturing one of humanity’s oldest relationships with nature: the pursuit, the struggle for control, and the instinct for survival.

Coffee Table Books
The light green (lemon) color breaks away from traditional palettes, bringing an immediate sense of vitality and modernity to the space, while reflecting understated, effortless luxury. Coffee table books have now become an essential element in interior design and photography styling, thanks to the visual presence and aesthetic balance they bring to a setting.
In this scene, the book appears as a “velvet-like” visual presence, as if it is quietly enjoying the view of the calm blue sea, bathed in the warm glow and soft shimmer of sunlight.
