It’s important to note that @HonAdenDuale told us 11 years ago that he knows the funders of Somali terrorists who bomb and kill Kenyans. They also control the smuggling of goods from Somalia to Kenya tax-free. The smugglers pay Al-Shabaab a protection fee that funds terrorism.

Today, I joined the FKF Scouting Tournament at Kajiunduthi Stadium in Maara Constituency. I was hosted by Kimathi Kibaara, the Ukweli Party Tharaka Nithi chairperson and incoming Muthambi Ward MCA. It was inspiring to witness the talent, determination, and potential of our young people on the pitch.

Sports create opportunities, keep young people engaged, and can become a pathway to education, employment, and professional careers. In the 2025/26 financial year, more than KSh 17 billion was allocated through the Sports, Arts and Social Development Fund for sports development and infrastructure.

Yet many talented athletes never get the chance to reach their full potential because of poor leadership, inadequate facilities, and the failure to invest in grassroots talent.

Our country is headed in the wrong direction, and we must change that. My government will invest in our young people, manage public resources honestly, and give every child with talent a fair chance to succeed.

URGENT: TUNDU LISSU’S LIFE IS IN DANGER

Credible information indicates that Tundu Lissu’s life is at serious risk.

For more than 470 days, Tundu Lissu has been held in detention in Tanzania as an unconvicted prisoner, without a fair and timely resolution of his case.

His continued detention has drawn widespread international condemnation:

1. Amnesty International has declared his arrest unjust and called for his immediate release.

2. The UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention has concluded that his detention is arbitrary.

3. On 10 July 2026, the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG) called on the Government of Tanzania to resolve his detention within 30 days.

For more than two decades, Tundu Lissu has faced relentless persecution for his peaceful advocacy for democracy, the rule of law, and the protection of fundamental freedoms in Tanzania. In 2017, he narrowly survived an assassination attempt after being shot multiple times.

The Tanzanian authorities bear full responsibility for Tundu Lissu’s safety, health, and life.

Former Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s conviction for the murder of Sharon Otieno and her unborn child is something to celebrate in a country where the rich never go to jail and those who buy pangas, bullets, and pay hitmen to kill others are never held accountable.

It is a sign that a day will come when leaders who have abused power and caused so much harm to our country will be tried, convicted, and jailed. That day is coming.

May Obado and his hitmen spend the rest of their lives in jail for that heinous murder.

In May 2023, we wrote to the @jsckenya with detailed evidence of Magistrate Edgar Kagoni’s incompetence, breach of the Code of Conduct and gross misconduct.

Three years later in 2026, they responded by simply telling us to report the same magistrate back to the trial court.

Edgar Kagoni sued me because I said he is corrupt, even his colleagues allege he is as dirty as sewerage. He was stationed in Nairobi, and after many complaints, he was moved to Kajiado where he is continuing with his dirty ways. Why is @jsckenya @CJMarthaKoome protecting him?

As a man, I never have to think twice about what I wear or worry that my choice of clothes could lead to me being sexually assaulted or killed. Yet this is the daily reality for girls and women around the world.

Every week in Kenya, an average of eight women are killed in acts of femicide. Behind each statistic is a life stolen, a family shattered, and a community left in grief.

Yesterday, I attended the screening and exhibition of the powerful documentary Maskan, which honours the lives of women lost to gender-based violence while amplifying the voices of survivors.
Ending femicide requires real accountability, justice for victims, and a collective commitment to change.

Men, in particular, have a critical role to play we must actively challenge the attitudes, behaviours, and cultural norms that enable violence against women.

If you’re in Nairobi, I strongly encourage you to visit Maskan Part II exhibition, running from 6–20 August 2026 at Creative Garage in Westlands. It’s a moving and important experience.

Eliud Lagat, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, should be in jail together with OCS Samson Talaam! Lagat sent officers to abduct Ojwang from Homa Bay County and ordered his murder. He was the complainer and the man who stood to benefit from Albert Ojwang's death.

The strongest evidence linking Eliud Lagat to Albert Ojwang’s murder is his communication with the Central Police Station OCS Talaam. Lagat ordered Albert's arrest and torture that ended up being a murder.

The National Intelligence Service, working with the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, came up with a scheme of getting the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (@IPOA_KE) to release Talaam’s phone from their custody to the @DCI_Kenya so that they could erase evidence.

The story that Talaam’s phone was used to extort money, while IPOA had it locked up as evidence, is a trick by the NIS to convince the court to order the release of the phone to the DCI.

That phone has crucial evidence that ties Lagat to a murder. If that phone is discredited, Lagat gets away with murder and his juniors carry the cross for him. Lagat is a crucial player in Ruto’s survival, so much so that he would rather let Kenya burn than see Lagat go to jail.

Ruto has also lined up the man who was ordering the murder of Gen Z, former Nairobi Regional Police boss Adamson Bungei as a possible successor. Bungei is the current Director of Operations based at the police headquarters. The police officers working with goons this past week wouldn't have done that without the approval of Inspector General of Police, Kanja, and his director of operations, Bungei.

Police officers in Bungoma shot Recce Squad officer Victor Lubakanga 38 times. They claimed that Victor was armed and dangerous and that there had been an exchange of fire between him and the officers.Ballistic examinations later established that the gun allegedly recovered from Victor was a toy gun and was not capable of firing. If the weapon could not shoot, how could there have been an exchange of gunfire?

According to a witness, after the police initially shot Victor and he fell to the ground, the officers approached him and fired additional rounds to ensure he was dead.Their intention was not to arrest him but to kill him.

The same officers were the ones who arranged to meet Victor. He arrived at the meeting accompanied by his wife. Police later claimed that Victor was planning to commit a robbery. However, this raises an important question,who goes to carry out a robbery while accompanied by their spouse?The officers and Victor together had a drink before being Murdered,that is according to his wife.

I cannot rule out the possibility that Victor may have been involved in criminal activity.If the police had sufficient evidence against him, why was he not arrested and taken to court? Why was he lured to a location and shot dozens of times instead?

There was also important evidence on Victor's phone indicating that he had been lured to the meeting. The phone was taken by the police, and was never presented in court.

Victor was killed by these officers who should face Murder Charges.Felix Mbuvi (Service No. 82398), Corporal Kipkorui Serem (Service No. 90903), Inspector Paul Serem (Service No. 222388), ASP Joseph Nzioka (Service No. 217303), Police Constable Stephen Etuga (Service No. 228069), Police Constable Abdi Gilo (Service No. 236352), and Police Constable George Mwangi Wachira (Service No. 82881).

The DPP closed the case file. With these unresolved questions surrounding the incident the case should be reopened.
