December 17: A gala celebration at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences feted the miracle of the newly restored Notre-Dame in Paris. The Cambridge gathering featured presentations by Dr. Caroline and Dr. Thomas Kelly.

In 2019, on commission from the French Government, Camerata premiered a program to honor Notre-Dame, highlighting structures of musical sound as practiced within its walls that helped change forever the compositional and performance practices of Western Europe.

Five years ago the Cathédrale de Notre-Dame de Paris was struck by a tragic fire, but as of December 7, the restoration is complete and music is being shared in this monument to Medieval ingenuity and artistry once again.

This year, 𝘉𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘥 𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, a collaborative production with @TeroSaarinenCo, returns to the stage for the 20th anniversary of its premiere. Touring Europe, you can catch performances in Finland, France, Germany, and Austria in 2025.
