We've been deep in development mode—and we’re excited to share what’s just landed in the Alpha build of Botwars Ascendance!

✅ New Login & Authentication System
No more waiting for manual access—players can now create and manage their own accounts, with features like password resets and email authentication built in. This ensures a smoother, safer onboarding and helps us verify real players—not bots.

🎮 Main Menu & Settings Menu
It might not be the flashiest update, but it’s a critical one. These foundational systems now allow players to navigate seamlessly between game modes, settings, wallet access, and the in-game store—a big leap toward a more user-friendly experience.

📦 What This Means for You
We’re laying the groundwork for downloadable access via launchers and launchpads, enabling players to jump in on demand. With full login autonomy, the days of waiting on the dev team for access are officially over.

Spectrium bosses have levelled up.
Now, they’ll launch waves of Centurian defenders before you even get close.
From afar, they’ll blast you with railguns and high-energy lasers, targeting only those they deem a real threat.

Get ready, Captains. Combat in Botwars Ascendance has been totally reengineered—and it’s better than ever.

🎲 Every Shot Counts
Combat now features chance-to-hit and critical-hit mechanics—meaning your shots have a calculated chance to land, and an even slimmer chance to strike with devastating effect.
When your weapons fire, you’ll now see each hit or miss in real time, along with the exact amount of damage dealt—just like the best combat RPGs.

⚙️ Damage, Depth, and Decision-Making
Your mothership’s performance in battle is shaped by:
🔹 Chance to hit
🔹 Critical hit probability
🔹 Weapon range
🔹 Enemy shields, armour, and resistances (now split between kinetic and energy weapons)

🎯 Know Your Range, Master Your Weapons
To support these changes, range visualisation rings now appear around your mothership during combat. They show exactly which enemies are within range for your currently equipped weapons—so you can pick the right target at the right moment.

This isn’t just shooting. It’s tactical warfare—where knowledge, timing, and positioning define who survives.

11/ 🛠️ Repairing & Rebuilding After Defeat

If your Mothership is destroyed, don’t worry—you’ll respawn at the New Haven Shipyard.

✅ Repair Process:
1️⃣ Visit the Shipyard
2️⃣ Open the Mothership Repair menu
3️⃣ Check the required resources
4️⃣ Gather missing materials & repair your ship

📌 Tip: Stock up on Steel & Titanium to avoid getting stranded after defeat.
