Personally, I think when a head coach is fired by an organization. Their contract should be terminated and converted into a severance package. That way the coach can still collect while not working and is not at their former employer’s mercy it another team has interest.

The Jarry trade and the decision not to match Holloway alone are probably enough to merit a firing. And while I was/am highly critical of Holland's tenure, Bowman has yet to acquire a player of Ekholm or Hyman's level.
