Last week, our Bridgeport Bears were treated to a wonderful morning assembly by the MS Jazz Band! The students loved dancing along to the music and seeing former Bears playing all the fun jazz instruments! #BridgeportProud!

Last Friday morning Bridgeport participated in our first ever school-wide “Drop Everything & Read” during morning meeting! The entire school spent 10 minutes in absolute silence reading! It reminds us all to make reading a priority activity in our everyday lives!

Our Bridgeport Bears blasted into May with a beautiful day at the park for #FitnessFirstFriday. Not only did they have their running shoes on, but also their dancing ones! At the end of the day 3rd & 4th graders came out & partnered with the Kindergarten class! @UpperMerionSD

4th Grade & Kindergarten students collaborated to kick off the 1st ever Kindy 500. 4th Graders made cars and questions for Kindergarten students to use as they raced through the track to complete the Kindy 500. #BridgeportProud @UpperMerionSD

Last week we completed our "One Book, One Bridgeport"! Students enjoyed the reading the end of James & the Giant Peach by many mystery readers, were treated to a special snack of Peach Cobbler, collaborated to create a mural, and were able to watch the Musical version in class!
