Who, in his last psych evaluation, which rated his risk of future sexual reoffending, rated him as “average”.

Gets to learn to cook.

I'm Sorry, certain people don't deserve compassion.

And simply shows the level of respect the Canadian judicial system has for survivors of heinous crimes.

A 10 year old daughter was sexually assaulted and murdered.

That kind of evil doesn't deserve a second chance, and his punishment will never fit the crime.

The Times never mentions Maia Johnson. She is an American who worked on Hillary Clinton’s campaign and later around Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Carney hired her to advise on U.S. strategy, then made her chief operating officer of his own office—the most powerful staff job in Ottawa

Simple version: the article paints Carney as the calm adult managing Trump risk, and skips the fact that a U.S. Democratic campaign veteran is now helping run his government and the Trump file

Tell the New York Times: if you’re going to lecture America about reliability, say who is actually sitting in the Canadian prime minister’s office

The Globe just ran one of the most self-erasing, tone-deaf columns a national paper has published in a long time. And that’s saying something. Congratulations on discovering your own country in 2026.

The rest of us were already here.

Without Canadians, WW2 looks a hell of a lot different. Canadians were the grit that helped rid the world of Nazi's, and as always 🇨🇦 didn’t get the easy jobs.

They sent our guys into the worst of it on purpose. Dieppe. Ortona. Juno. The Scheldt.

The Netherlands. We hit Juno Beach and drove farther inland that first day than anybody else landing. Almost a thousand dead at Dieppe so the next one wouldn’t be a massacre.

We liberated a country that still ships us tulips every spring because they remember who actually showed up. In the air we built the only all-Canadian bomber group in

Bomber Command and those kids flew night after night with a coin-flip chance of coming home. Ten thousand of them didn’t. That’s not a supporting role. That’s the bill.

Eleven million people. Over a million in uniform. Forty-five thousand graves. And some columnist just figured out Canada is a “power.”

Come on.

We’ve been building this place since 1867. Railway across a frozen continent. Two world wars. Peacekeeping when the word still meant something. Showing up. Not waiting for a columnist to give us a participation trophy.

Then Lawrence Martin writes that we spent 159 years in the shadows and only now, thanks to a shiny new doctrine, the world finally notices us.

He looked at Juno Beach and called it backup. That’s not analysis.

That’s historical amnesia with a byline.

Well seeing how historically anywhere between 15-25% (on the low ) gets skimmed directly by Hamas. And the unrwa has shown to have a level of corruption in Gaza that has lead to dozens fired.

This is possibly the dumbest things to send money to. Seeing how at worst terrorists are skimming money. That's without question by historical precedent.

I had to be sure - so I've triple-checked. Canada's global trade percentage with Angola is.....0.01%....so, naturally, taking the PM's numbers at face value (safe to do, also, naturally!), it was 0.005% before this breakthrough. They're Canada's.....122nd-largest trading partner.

Globalism doesn't increase your sovereignty.
By definition Sovereignty means a people can still say no; globalism is the project of making that “no” not count.

I think it proves his agenda has no principal core values outside achieving what his end goal is.

Which is dramatically far off from standard geopolitics politics. Or else there would be rhyme or reason and not chaotic treading of water above and below the surface.
