@RichOToole I was born and raised in East Texas. Spent 3 years out in Sonora SW TX ages 8-10. I grew up in gardens. Fresh veggies were always on the plate in the pines. I got the best of both worlds. Brown and green. Not much better than that plate you had today when my granny made it!

@chefsevenn Tempura battered cod and fries. My adopted grandfather would travel 20 miles one way, always on Monday, to eat at Long John Silvers. My grandparents would drive 30 miles to do the same. We recreate it at the house a couple times a year. Ye ol fish and chips, eh
