You may be tempted to put children in their car seats with their heavy winter coats as it gets colder -- but this is a dangerous combination. Generally, a bulky coat should NOT be worn underneath a car seat harness. This can leave the harness too loose to be effective in a crash.

While our officers are allowed facial hair year-round, we use No Shave November as a fundraiser for a specific cause! This year proceeds will go to JP Gardner from @StoneCountyFire Protection District who was severely injured fighting a fire.
