Things I’ve learned building on @solana:
➡️RPC errors will test your patience
➡️Speed is insane, but cost savings are better
➡️Dev tooling is getting better every week
➡️A good faucet solves real pain
I built the first working @Solana faucet from scratch.
No ads. No KYC. Just pure utility.

If you're building on $SOL, this might save you some real time.
Open-source & dev-friendly.
Hey guys. I'm currently working on a project called SolDrop - a Solana-based faucet designed to support both developers and everyday users. @soldropfun
💧What is SolDrop?
SolDrop is a simple faucet that distributes 0.015 SOL daily to anyone who claims through the website.
Claims are limited to 1 per day per IP/MAC address to prevent abuse.
🔧Why SolDrop?
Developers can use the free SOL for testing new coins and smart contracts.
Memecoin traders or newcomers can get a small starting balance to kick off their Solana journey.
💰Initial Balance & Sustainability
The faucet launches with an initial balance of 10 SOL.
All fees generated from https://t.co/wX7FWqdfXj interactions will be recycled back into the faucet.
As the faucet balance increases, the daily claim amount will also increase accordingly.
🙌Community Donations
Anyone can contribute to the faucet by donating any amount of SOL to the public donation address on the website. More support = more SOL for everyone.
Efficiency is vital in cryptocurrency.
A network requires low latency and near-zero fees to scale for global demand.
It must be decentralized and secure to serve as a global currency.
If your network fails these metrics, it lags significantly.
@DegenTimes69 $SUI just feels better to use - it’s smoother, easier to navigate, no gas fees to worry about, and everything just works, + its more user-friendly!
Help keep the faucet flowing! 🌊
@soldropfun runs on love - and $SOL.
We’re putting all our token launch fees back into the faucet, but community support really helps keep Sol Drop growing strong. Any donations are truly appreciated - every bit makes a difference.
