Today, 1pm-2:30pm EST - Pain Linguistics: “How Males Experience, Present, Process, Treat, and Talk About Their Pain Struggles and Suffering.” Pain is a language best spoken and understood by person experiencing it even when they may not be making sense of it and is incoherent, it’s still an experience of great discomfort and unsettling emotions. After twenty-five years of working with males of all ages and experiences with trauma that led to their pain, I understood quite clearly that males present and talk about their pain in a language not taught; but lived, and from those years and my own experiences with near death traumas and broken heart I too know and understand how hard it is and will be for males to be authentic and transparent in our pain and suffering.

Humbled to attend today's Statewide Town Hall held by @NYSomh executive leadership in #Albany. Commissioner Ann Sullivan laid out OMH plans to address #MentalHealth across the state and more investments in peer services, psychiatric beds, community-based services, new partnerships to increase services, new certifications to join behavioral services across healthcare systems, and many more great initiatives.

I testified about the real hard realities people like me who are living with life-threatening health, mental health, physical pains, psychological despair, and how we are going into healthcare systems and coming out worse than went in and there's no oversight on quality of services in improving lives of people. I talked about the failures in these health systems that pushes people deeper in despair and pain and if I killed myself from the exacerbated pain everyone would say how many great services are available and I should have sought help because it is available. I'm in pain 24/7 from head to bottom of my feet from various health challenges. Seeking healthcare services shouldn't be hard, strenuous, or painful when already in pain and struggling with #suicide ideations to end suffering. I fear the healthcare systems more than my suicide thoughts and dying. I'm very happy my testimony touched many people and sparked a real conversation about dire need to assess quality of care in mental health systems.

Dear @Amtrak, in one move of utter chaos and madness today you spiked my #anxiety #agoraphobia #depression, physical and psychological pains, and despair in ways that were terrifyingly incoherent and unbearable. Please, I'm begging you, if these cancelations are to continue, please, please, have all staff, customer service reps in locations on same page so confusion does exacerbate travel and #MentalHealth conditions. My God, it was an extremely challenging day traveling between #NYC and #Albany and I just need to get home safe anf wipe day from memory and pray this doesn't happen again on rest of travels this week 😤 You've put me in so much pain it's intolerable. My mother-in-law from The Bronx is stuck in #Isreal due to the conflicts and we have been trying tirelessly to get her home to the US by going through proper channels stated by the #USStateDepartment. She has serous health issues and not enough medication to last over this lengthy process. We received attached communication from the State Department about getting her out of Isreal and taking her to another country where she will then have to find her way back to the US. Email also mentions repaying the cost of getting her out of Isreal. Really, repaying?

Is this how the US is handles evacuation of American citizens safely in times of conflicts/crisis?

Calling on you to address the decadent and unjust modern day enslavement system of Credit that's keeping poor people shackled, enslaved, victimized, traumatized, revictimized, retraumatized in cycle of unending unfair debt ratio/injustice.

Why do people have to experience punishment for years due to late payments while our socioeconomic status/structure is biased, broken, old, and unfair. Wr are much more than our credit score, and so much more about us than what the numbers represents. Hardworking Americans can't afford basic quality of life and credit systems are suffocating life and sanity out of us with high interest rates, lengthy block from new credit opportunities.
