“Great mixed-use development by the canal with restaurants, bars, and lots of entertainment options such as table tennis. The juxtaposition of the buildings with the trees provide a scenic view for those who are in the area. There’s space to sit on the steps by the water or on the seats in the multiple green spaces.” – Joseph Olang, Google Reviews
Brindleyplace demonstrates the value of well-executed mixed-use placemaking, combining leisure, hospitality, and public realm within a cohesive canalside environment. The integration of built form, landscaping, and accessible open space creates a setting that supports both activity and relaxation in the heart of Birmingham.

Last week our tenants enjoyed a Bird Box Making Workshop. Expertly tutored by John Beavon they crafted exquisite homes for little feathered friends and enjoyed spending the lunch break with colleagues.
The workshops are part of our Brindley Connects events - encouraging tenants in our office buildings to network and spend time with each other outside of their normal office environment.
Brindleyplace provides the perfect backdrop for product photography, with striking architecture mixed with modern public spaces that help products stand out.
Last week, Blueprint Imaging was in Oozells Square capturing stunning shots of two new vehicles, making the most of the open spaces and contemporary surroundings. This is a great example of how the right location can elevate product imagery and create visuals that leave a lasting impression.
If you're looking for a versatile city-centre location for your next commercial photoshoot, Brindleyplace offers a wealth of inspiring settings.

We’re still reeling from the amazing BCU 1000 Threads Fashion Show that took place in Central Square last Thursday.
It was a privilege to host such a high-profile event in the heart of Brindleyplace, showcasing the versatility of our stunning public realm. Central Square provided a truly unique backdrop to the show, bringing together creativity, innovation and community in one of Birmingham’s most distinctive waterside destinations.
The event also highlighted the value of collaboration. We worked closely with Lee Lapthorne, Joe Turvey, Alison Rapsey and many more staff from Birmingham City University behind the scenes or months and greatly value the partnership we have built. The annual fashion show demonstrates what can be achieved when organisations come together to celebrate local talent, creativity and ambition.
If you’re looking for office space in a prestigious waterside location with exceptional public spaces capable of hosting memorable events, Brindleyplace offers the perfect setting. Or perhaps you'd simply like an office with a front-row seat to some of Birmingham’s most exciting events!
Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering such a fantastic evening. We’re already looking forward to next year.
Just like bird boxes, bug hotels benefit from occasional maintenance and last week our luxury habitats for visiting creatures had a little tlc!
Cleaning and replacing old nesting materials helps reduce disease, improve nesting success, and provide healthier homes for solitary bees and other beneficial insects.

Last week many of our tenants visited the Brindley bees who live on top of 3 Brindleyplace🐝(Despite some very dreary weather ☔)
Expertly guided by our resident beekeeper, John, they learned all about the welfare of these tiny, but very important members of our community.
From understanding how the hives are maintained to discovering the vital role bees play in supporting biodiversity, it was a fascinating and insightful experience for everyone involved.

We are pleased to share the successful completion of the cleaning, harmonisation, and rewaxing of the patina on the two phosphor bronze elements of Aquaduct, the striking sculpture designed by British sculptor Miles Davies that sits in Central Square. The artwork was the winning entry in a competition co-hosted by Brindleyplace and the Royal Society of British Sculptors.
Sited at Brindleyplace since 1995, Aquaduct is a dramatic hollow structure divided into two asymmetrical sections - one featuring two arches and the other three. The fractured form evokes a broken aquaduct, reflecting and celebrating Brindleyplace's rich canal heritage.
Our conservation work undertaken by Birmingham based specialists, Bespoke Patination Limited, has carefully refreshed the sculpture's appearance while preserving the character and integrity of its patinated bronze surface, helping to ensure this iconic public artwork can continue to be enjoyed for years to come.
