What a weekend, Bristol.

From dewy mornings to glowing nights, you filled Ashton Court and the city with wonder and joy.

Every cheer, every wave, every glance skyward is what makes this event more than just a celebration of balloons, it’s a true celebration of this community.

As a not-for-profit event it takes an incredible amount of year-round dedication by a small team of predominately volunteers, and we are incredibly proud to keep this event free to attend.

Tonight they are heading towards Hengrove and Keynsham so please everyone give them a cheer, a wave and a huge applause - our balloonists are the stars of our show and deserve so much gratitude 🙏

And this is it, Bristol the final mass ascent of the 2025 Bristol International Balloon Fiesta in partnership with @AG_LLP.

Our sky high Sunday has gifted us an incredible closing day. And we are flying this evening 💚

The balloons will prepare for launch shortly, which we will commence with a closing ceremony as the union flag is flown and bagpipes will serenade the balloons off in honour of the Fiesta’s founder, Don Cameron.

Reminder: All our car parks are fully booked for today and are now closed to further entry.

We kindly ask that you do not park illegally or leave vehicles on surrounding roads. Parking enforcement officers will be ticketing cars.

We’ve been blessed with some glorious blue skies and sunshine today, but unfortunately, the wind is just too gusty for us to go ahead with the planned evening mass ascent.

We may not be flying, but our incredible Nightglow is still scheduled to take place at 9pm tonight, and we can’t wait to light up Ashton Court in the best way we know how 🎈 🌟

We will update everyone regarding this evening’s mass ascent when we see how early the wind drops later this afternoon and then of course we are all raring to go for our second Nightglow of the 2025 Fiesta.
