The importance of giving back is something I learned from my parents. They taught my siblings and me that we had a responsibility to help make life better for others, in whatever way we could.
What I love most about giving back is how it can deepen our connection to each other and to our communities—something I think many of us need right now. And best of all, anyone can be a giver, because everyone has something to offer the world.
Giving Tuesday is just around the corner, and I can’t wait to share more about my plans. Stay tuned 😊
I’m proud to honor my dad’s legacy on #WorldAlzheimersDay with our inaugural cohort of the William H. Gates Sr. Fellowship. Congratulations to this year’s fellows—I admire your passion and look forward to seeing the progress in ADRD research.
That's a wrap, #Goalkeepers2030! To everyone who attended in person or online, thank you.
It’s clear we have a lot of work to do to improve maternal and child health, but we know more than ever before about how to make serious progress. And that gives me hope.
Across the world, approximately 800 women die in childbirth every day. One mother every two minutes. But new breakthroughs could save 1,000 mothers and babies each day.
