@ShayCloete The word is rejected, because it now commonly carries a theological meaning that is incorrect.
If you have an issue with God revoking titles due to their misuse, then you should have an issue with your God revoking the title Baal in Hosea 2:16-17, due to a new incorrect meaning.
@Fearthecow93@LilithLovett Check again. In countries like Saudi Arabia that do govern under some sort of Islamic Law (although not completely), murder (including honour killing) is punishable by death.
It's not to merely be "morally superior", but to actually do what's right.
@Fearthecow93@LilithLovett Honour killing, in Islām, is a major sin punishable by death.
Men also have very strict rules in Islam surrounding modesty. I urge you to study and read about Islām from Muslim sources in order to at least portray the Muslim opinion accurately.
@KenzioDev@togdog111@nonregemesse This is why it's important to read, my friend.
Muslim kids are NOT obliged to wear it, and MANY DON'T wear it till they reach puberty. Those who do are copying their mothers, or getting used to it.
For women who do wear it, the primary function of wearing it is devotion to God.
@MaulanaSikander Well of course they would educate the Muslims under their tutelage and care first. An Imām is responsible for offering guidance to his fellow Muslim brothers and sisters – an authority to them.
Bob down the street doesn't take our Imām as an authority.
@MeleeNah1 Don't engage with him, sister. He's a known anti-Islam apologist who lies, strawmans, and misrepresents islamic sources and opinions. May Allāh bless and preserve you.
@Nexusdream_404@Bushra1Shaikh Ironically, in trying to speak out about a brutal disgusting murder, you also wish brutality on someone else.
You can't make this up.
@vult_dues Both are correct. You haven't understood the normative islamic scholarly opinion regarding the Qurʾān. The Qurʾān was revealed in different Aḥruf – which at times accommodated different meanings.
All of which come from God, as we believe. Therefore, both readings are from Him.
@vult_dues Ah, you still don't understand.
The orthodox Muslim position is that there are variants in recitations of the uthmanic codex that do produce variations in meanings.
This is LITERALLY the orthodox position. It's not a "gotcha" moment, when that's literally what we believe.
@KenzioDev@togdog111@nonregemesse Men have their own modesty laws in Islām too. Again, you haven’t read.
Had you read, you’d also know men are very strongly commanded to avert their gaze from women they’re not closely related to, whether those women are covered or uncovered. That is also their devotion to God.

@vult_dues Is it your view that adults no longer play games once older? There aren't a plethora of adult men who still play PS5 games? Let's not be silly here. Anywho, what do you have to say about this? 👇
@muslimorthodoxy@KnowledgeNorth Wallāhī I love you for the sake of Allāh akhī, but it's not fair to say the brother Knowledge North only does that.
He has many beneficial videos and series on his channel regarding Islamic history.
Criticism is a very small aspect of what he does, and at times may be justified
@togdog111@nonregemesse You animals are disgusting. Your perverted ignorant minds continue to come up with filthy fantasies regarding our Muslim daughters.
We care for them, protect them, and provide for them. Don't claim such ignorant statements about us when you're unlearned. Read.

@enesovat22 You should know very well then, that pushing, shoving and hurting one another to kiss the black stone and touch the Kaʿbah, is completely ḥarām. Then again, you left Islām for Christianity, so you're not the brightest person out there.
