On Dec 21, 2009, Deputy Kent Mundell was shot while responding to a domestic violence call in the Eatonville area. He was airlifted to Harborview MC, where he remained on life support until succumbing to his wounds on Dec. 28. We will always remember his courage and sacrifice.
Today marks five years since Deputy Cooper Dyson was killed in a crash while responding as priority backup for deputies who were struggling with an armed suspect. Deputy Dyson and his family will forever be in our hearts, and we are thankful for his dedication to our community.
Thinking about all the holidays, birthdays and anniversaries, our military men and women sacrifice in their service for our country. Thank you, veterans!

I served w/ Jaime Herrera Beutler in the State House & know her leadership & her work ethic. I have seen her respond to adversity w/ great determination. She has the experience & motivation to safeguard our forest lands for the benefit of all in Washington. @JaimeForLands !
Our friends, Kim & Bette Nordberg, were two of the finest people I have ever known.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dan personally. He was the most exceptional leader for our state. Always took time to help and encourage others in public service. Rest well. https://t.co/3R56M9jo5T
Shocked and deeply saddened. He was so young, so passionate, so witty, and so thoughtful. He cared for our community and loved his family!
