#A38 St Chads #Birmingham southbound (between Expressway towards City Centre) has reopened. Northbound remains closed.

Delays remain on Expressway back through Park Circus, northbound major delays remain (Bristol St back to Belgrave Middleway, ring road etc).

I am pleased to announce the new administration has ensured prompt publication of planning applications for crucial repairs to four of the Council's libraries, in Acocks Green, Erdington, Northfield and Handsworth, so that this work can move ahead as fast as possible 1/3

For too long these spaces were left to decline. We're changing that.
Libraries are a top priority for us, and we want to see all of these libraries reopened and revitalised, for our residents to enjoy them. We know how important libraries are to communities across the city. 2/3

The Met Office have issued a red heat warning for Birmingham and the surrounding areas. 🌡️

This weekend, Britain First plan to come to Birmingham to promote messages that seek to divide our communities.
