@AldoScrim89 Agree 100%, DMc wanted him, probably as he was unsure about the recruitment model. Give Shankland service, he’ll get you 15-20 goals. A safe bet to get going. That’s was the price of the deal, the goals and contribution this season. Stings it’s RFC but in hindsight we’d take it.
@GorgieU DMc was desperate for him as he was proven and hadn’t had experience of JTA, that was the terms to do it, we got an extra year, and what a year. We’ve had his best years. A sore one, but nobody had heard of Kyzi, Braga, Schwolow etc 12 mths ago. We need to trust the process. HHGH
@SRMoodie7 I thought he’d be at RFC this summer tbh, just not for free, 🤦🏻♂️ that’s a dull one. As you say might be an odd blessing as he was always going to start. After the summer we will pretty much get to see full swing JTA in action minus 2-3 legacy players. That at least is interesting.
@SRMoodie7 Mixed feelings on it. One hand, we’ve had the best of him, other 31 soon, actually owes us nothing DMc was desperate to keep him as a proven entity, DMc also now has a year to see the positive results. A year ago we hadn’t heard of Braga, Kyzi, etc 🤞trying to trust the process.
@SRMoodie7 Exactly this, condemn it, put proper disciplinary action and repercussions in place to avoid it happening again before we end up with fences around pitches again.
@SuperJoeSavage Not sure it’s wise to upset a very intelligent billionaire who already had disruption of the status quo in our game already on his mind. A far deeper emotional connection may have been forged yesterday. We go again next year!
@mrewanmurray It’s a sore one, we have nothing to be ashamed of and everything to be proud of.
Hearts have brought millions of eyes to the league, I can only imagine the upset when they realise it’s not going to be a one off.
@JamTarts Everyone at the club and the supporters should hold their head high. Represented the club with class. The players should be massively proud! Hearts have a lot more supporters now than they did last week. I wonder why! 🤔
@mrewanmurray They should have been instructed to wait and not go around and then went around after Shankland spoke and the Celtic result was known. Lots of people hung around waiting at that point expecting them to all go around with kids etc. I hope they all know the administration they have
@scotlandscoeff1 Even if he doesn’t header the ball his head was always in the way of said ball. So… still kicks him in the head, the header didn’t change the overall position between the defenders foot and the ball.
