@sidseixeiroshow@Sid_Seixeiro What are they supposed to do, stay at home and stew in it for a month before they can be seen smiling in public? This is such a typical Toronto take. So dumb.
@HFTVSports In that room, the series wasn't dead until the last second ticked off the clock in game 5. You dress him if you think he's better than the 20 guys in the lineup, not because you've given up.
@jonjerkone@AustonPowerz I can’t wait to see this guy implode when Matthews and Nylander both want out of whatever shit show the leafs are going to be next season.
@Antho_Martineau Gotta fight through it. He just glided by with the guy. If he stops he might draw the penalty but he just went with it and barely looked like he was trying to get through.
@fnveenie@CedHabs 100% that was a dive! But that's the sort of thing they should be doing, maybe not exactly that because you could get a major for it but you get what I mean. Little shots here and there to soft, unprotected areas add up.
@fnveenie@CedHabs Evans did it a little bit but otherwise nobody on the habs is really giving cheap shots that make a difference. "if you're not cheating in sports, you're not trying" I forget who said it but its so true.
@Kbxlgg@thekentryclub Nah, she's right. You call out shitty behaviour regardless of whether its 1 person, 25 people or a whole group. Call it out so that it stops instead of burying your head in the sand and pretending it's not happening (or maybe you were one of them and are feeling guilty)?
@MOBeaudoin1 They couldn't handle Tampa's forecheck. They kept tossing the puck back behind the net hoping TBL would peel off but instead they chased it and pressured. Need to move the puck forward, more puck support, shorter passes out of the zone. Hope MSL adjusts.
@_JordanDecker buyout and re-sign for 1 or 2 years at much lower cap hit. I think if he plays every 2nd or 3rd game he will be much more effective. He still brings that leadership and pulls guys into the fight with him. Plus it's good optics to do that for him.
@manofbird@CanadiensMTL Thought he had a good game considering it was his 3rd in 3 nights. Needs to build confidence but he was in position, made good reads, moved the puck well and didn't get himself into any trouble.
@MitchyGallo I think Habs fans have so much collective trauma from the past 30 years that we refuse to see what's in front of our eyes and basically kicking us in the face. Habs are a contender, the problem is it's the first time in so long that we don't recognize it anymore.
@_JordanDecker@Monctonscout Both things can be true. Monty fell off a cliff and the Habs D hasn’t helped him at all. He needs a complete reset. Hopefully the offseason will help him. I feel like the Olympics messed with his head and he hasn’t recovered.
