@DisgruntledUSMC@brittb1994 It was just pointed out to me that I'm actually speaking on Emergency TROs and not all TROs, so apologies for any confusion.
@DisgruntledUSMC@brittb1994 This is what I mean when I say that no one has any clue what theyre talking about here, because they've never had to think about or experience this world. I hope Ive explained it clearly enough that you understand the point though.
@possibly_don Im correct. Its actually standard to accept a TRO on publishing content that is alleged to be defamatory or harassment in order to halt potential damages until the court can figure out whether the content is defamatory or harassment. Its literally the purpose of a TRO.
@StrainedNoodles@brittb1994 This, exactly. We're literally days into a case being filed and people are acting like the court is corrupt and evil when theyre literally just filing papers and doing their job correctly. The results of the case will speak for itself.
@DisgruntledUSMC@brittb1994 Putting a TRO on a journalist who is being sued over their published works allegedly containing defamation or harassment is actually not only the standard, but best practice. THIS IS A COURT CASE NOT TWITTER, PEOPLE
@StephanieGailW2 Dont mind this, its just Hasan literally cosplaying a pog face after his CCP state sponsors gifts him a copy of Mao's little red book.
@Mbakaza4L He also mentioned an enchanted forest ruled by faries and a wizard who has two servants: a monster and a spirit.
Probably not the best place to be looking for historical fact on the Levantine peoples.
@brittb1994 The lawsuit is about the GoFundMe. If he speaks about the company, he loses the case due to default judgement, meaning that whatever the company is alleging about the GoFundMe is taken at face value. Again, this is normal. I can give you a 1:1 analogous situation if you need it.
@brittb1994 It has absolutely nothing to do with the facts of the case, and will more than likely be rescinded at its end, meaning the episode and even more court content will be free to publish.
@brittb1994 I feel like everyone wants to talk about this but no one knows anything about courts. To me (not a lawyer) this sounds like some sort of TRO that states that Ben cant publicly talk about the case or the company due to foreseeable damages. This is normal.
@iedtwt Being high and feeling normal are two very different things, and not understanding that is a fast track to junkie-dom. You didnt feel "normal" when you stole your dad's percs. You felt high, which you liked so you sought more of that feeling. Welcome to drug abuse 101.
