@waldekm Hey @waldekm! You’re right, the API doesn’t accept direct file uploads the way the web app does. Media needs to be hosted at a public URL (Cloudinary or Cloudflare R2 work well) that stays live until the post publishes. More here: https://t.co/ypEhoJ72c1 -Julia

@dimasku Hi! Confirmed that it's not on the roadmap just now, but we have it on our suggestions board here:

Would love to count your vote!

@dimasku @hailleymari Hey Dimas - not at the moment. Just checking with the product team, I'll follow up when I have more detail on this!

@aneri Thanks so much, Irena! I’d love to help get these sorted. Could you send us a DM with the email on your Buffer account and which AI tool you’re using? We’ll dig into the video and thread image issues from there. -Ben

[Buffer @buffer]

@aneri Hi Irena! Haven looks like it's shaping up to be something really special, congrats! If you've run into any technical issues with Buffer, please let me know - keen to make sure everything is working as it should be for you!

With the Buffer MCP you can slice and dice your social data however you like.

Just ask 💬

[Buffer @buffer]

Hi again. Rechecking in our system, it looks like this issue was fixed already. Could you try uninstalling the browser extension, reinstall it using this link https://t.co/auPnh2ubd9 to get the latest version and try sharing a new re-post to check if it's displayed correctly? - Octa

[Buffer @buffer]

@TheThirstyTheo Thanks for following and sorry for the trouble! It was shared using the extension then. This is the bug that Lexi mentioned in the previous message that is affecting reposts/quote posts. We'll add your case to the report and follow up once we have an update. - Octavio

[Buffer @buffer]

@TheThirstyTheo Quick question: were you posting this via our API or MCP integration? We’ve identified a bug there affecting reposts/quote posts, so I wanted to check! -Lexi

[Buffer @buffer]

@TheThirstyTheo Oh no, so sorry, Theo! I see that it was scheduled as such, so not sure what misfired. Let me look into this and get back to you! -Lexi
