Mental health is a big thing for me, mainly since the pandemic & then after losing my dad in 2024
So in June I'll be doing a 23 mile walk to raise money for two charities that have helped me get through it @andysmanclubuk & @theCALMzone
Donations welcome!

Past West Ham relegations have left me broken at times, but now it's a bit π€·π»ββοΈ. Resigning myself to it early in the season helped, plus realising it's not a big deal. My club will play on, win/lose/draw each week & still have my support. That's football. Bring on next season #COYI
I have no feelings either way for @SUFCRootsHall tbh, but as their Wembley opponents today are Wealdstone, a team we've encountered many times at @ConcordRangers, I'm fully behind Southend today. Very rare we saw anything positive about the Stones fans or team over the years ππ
Had another training walk today, 14 miles & my feet are aching a tad. Making good progress though, couple more training days to go before the big 23 mile walk in 4 weeks time. Raised Β£700 so far, would be awesome to reach my Β£1000 target for @theCALMzone & @andysmanclubuk

After a while of barely posting here, it's been a while since I've acknowledged a bottle kill, so here's the latest. Final dram tonight of this beautiful Leiper's Fork Tennessee Whiskey. 50% abv, so it's not a light dram, but it's sweet & powerful. I've really loved it ππΌ
@Aaronrutter9 Only in a sense that if you overspend beyond your means you'll eventually crash, the money always runs out, we've seen it happen more than enough times over the years mate
About 10 years ago, my bro @SipsyJP worked for c2c & voiced the "See it, Say it, Sorted" PA. Long after he left the announcement remained, an earworm for commuters. But now after a decade, @c2c_Rail have changed the PA, his legacy in tatters π
Thanks for everything bruv πππ»
Sad news from earlier today. Legend is a word that gets thrown around too easily these days, but Bonzo was and is the definition of a true West Ham legend.
RIP Billy Bonds
#COYI
It is with deep sadness and the heaviest of hearts that West Ham United announces the passing this morning of legendary player, coach and manager, Billy Bonds MBE.
Rest in peace Billy, our courageous, inspirational, lion-hearted leader.
@c2c_Rail Just a quick heads up, whether it's yourselves or NCP, but the station car park at Upminster hasn't been gritted and as a result is a bit of an ice rink this morning. Saw one guy hit the ground pretty hard already as I was walking through.
One of the best to ever wear the Green & White, a legend for the New York Jets and an incredible personality. Taken far too soon, 41 is no age at all, I mean shit he was the same age as me. Incredibly sad news. RIP

@JackJuniorSmith@LukeEdwardsTele While it's been tough following the Jets sometimes, and today was a killer seeing us come close but bottle it, I've had more pain and frustration over the years as a West Ham fan. But still, I clearly tend to pick teams that struggle ππ
Had no love for Billericay Town in the past, but seeing the news that @danscopes6, @CraigShipman1 and Danny Clare are together again on their touchline makes the club a little less irritating π Wishing those three guys all the success in the world ππ» #nonleaguefootball
Made a conscious effort a couple of years ago to read more, and @goodreads has been a great way to keep track of what I've read. It's also prompted me to review each book, so if you're on Goodreads too & don't mind reading 25+ book reviews a year, add me https://t.co/ZDHaJfhtFX
@mattwross Just finished reading Red Admiral, so it's now back on the reading shelf on floor 11. Absolutely brilliant, even better than the first, so thank you for leaving the copy here for people to read! Got to ask, are we getting a third installment of Poynter & Perry soon?
