Personal Note
After an emotional day, the old @kadena_io chain's last block (6357351) mined at 19:52 UTC yesterday—none since. As a 3.5-year miner, I'm sad but not shocked. Founders @SirLensALot & @_wjmartino_ remain silent, true to form. Their Oct 21 shutdown was the only "urgent" act from a team bafflingly inept at basics. Hoped for responsible handover; got zilch.

Also bummed @AnneliseOsborne 's buyout push failed—her business ties could've helped. Rumors pin it on founders' greed. But onward: Community's taking the reins.

Thank you for clarifying this. @DemiourgosH who filed the complaint has been fighting hard to get the community fork delisted from exchanges. From what I have seen, the Kadena Community does not support them, yet they claim to do everything in the best interest of the community.

This complaint, alleging your listing of a "fraudulent" $KDA token involving cloned transactions, branding theft, and issuer misrepresentation, stems from a vocal minority's frustration with the original @kadena_io LLC's abrupt shutdown. It mischaracterizes a legitimate, decentralized community rescue as deception. We urge you to maintain your support for the New Kadena Chain, which has overwhelmingly become the true continuation of the ecosystem—now commanding 90% hashrate, active development, and broad project migrations—while we provide the facts to refute these claims.

The context is critical: On October 21, 2025, Kadena's founders (@_wjmartino_ and @SirLensALot ) suddenly ceased operations without notice, crashing $KDA's price and abandoning a live blockchain. This wasn't a graceful wind-down but a unilateral exit after six years of underperformance, leaving developers, miners, and holders exposed. In response, the community—led by key figures in crypto—rallied to fork at block 6335858, preserving the chain's history, balances, and functionality under a new client (v3.0) that enforces incompatibility with the defunct original. Far from "single-individual control," this is a grassroots effort: Original devs have returned, a community board is forming, and projects like @MercOnKadena , @crankk_io , and @thebrothersdao have migrated seamlessly. The original chain, lacking support, has dwindled to irrelevance (<1% hashrate) and is effectively dead. Claims of "cloned transactions" reference early replay vulnerabilities from the shared "mainnet01" ID—a rushed necessity in an 18-day crisis, now stabilized with no ongoing exploits. Losses (~23M KDA) were unfortunate but contained, akin to risks in any contentious fork (e.g., Ethereum's DAO split), and do not equate to fraud.

I saw some interesting criticisms, some true and some wildly false so I thought I'd take some time to break down my thoughts for this update:

Summary of arguments for/against the @kadena_io Fork:

Facts/Truth-heavy
-Accurately highlights replay vulnerability with on-chain data showing identical signatures validating across both chains due to propagation delays and node interconnectivity.
-Lack of Protections: Truthfully notes absence of standard safeguards like new chain ID or replay measures; both forks retained "mainnet01" ID, rules, and $KDA ticker, enabling cross-chain replays in the rushed crisis timeline.
-Empirical TX Proof: Provides direct explorer links to transaction hash confirming dual validity.
-Legal Grounding: Bases potential issues on contract law, where unauthorized replays could breach signature consent in US/EU; mild opinion on global scope, but overall objective diagnosis.

False/Opinion-Heavy
-"Identity Theft": Labels vulnerability as "on-chain identity theft" while falsely claiming no exchange coordination, despite @Gate and @coinexcom support aiding 100 PH/s hashrate shift.
-"Illegitimate" Upgrade Claim: Opinions the split as a disguised, artificial upgrade, downplaying its hard fork via protocol incompatibility at block 6335858 and the necessary 3.0 client update blocking old comms.
