This is the part of Kyle’s career that I hope is reflected on more than anything. The drivers and crew people he helped developed through KBM, the young drivers he gave a ride to, the crew people that developed as a result of his commitment to racing.
The Kyle Busch Motorsports boys all took a picture together today.
Man, I thought I was getting passed the emotions a little bit. This one is really meaningful, man.
If you find yourself in this situation, with shirts or hats that say “FUCK KYLE BUSCH.” I think Kyle would probably want you to wear them. Not burn or discard them. He loved being the heal, the excitement, the talking point every weekend. It’s part of his dynasty. He loved it.
Mad respect to Ty for telling the reporter who asked him where he was and what his reaction was to basically fuck off with that shit, it's not about where he was.
He was such a little shithead when he needed to be at precisely the right moment. You couldn’t write a better heel than this if you tried. God I’m going to miss him.
Can we please stop speculating about Brexton?
Can we stop planning the future for him and what he’s going to do?
Can we stop comparing his loss to Ty and Dale Jr?
He’s 11.
He’s not an “adult”.
He’s entering the stage where his Dad was going to be a huge part of his development into a “man”.
How about we just support Brexton, and cheer him on.
He can’t replace his dad in your hearts. That’s not fair to put on him.
@notbubbawallace Kyle Busch knew exactly who he was to all race fans - to some, the greatest hero, to others the greatest heel. He was always, above all else, entertaining.
In 2019, the KBM 51 won the Truck Series Owners' Championship. As a full-time Cup driver, Kyle Busch's five wins in the truck didn't make the team playoff eligible.
Greg Biffle's Texas win, however, did.
This moment is likely the biggest reason Kyle's team won that title.
Kyle Busch Motorsports decals have now been placed on the Spire Motorsports trucks. Including the 7 that Busch was supposed to drive tonight
The Spire truck team purchased the assets of the KBM truck program several years ago. The Spire race shop is also the former KBM shop
If you ever want to tell someone about Kyle Busch’s ability as a NASCAR driver…
In 2020, there was a $100,000 “Kyle Busch Bounty” in a NASCAR Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Legendary.
I'm not trying to be hyperbolic, I know 2001 was an extremely difficult & different situation.
But this feels like our generations passing of Dale.
Someone we have all watched damn near his entire career. One of the literal greats of this sport.
And passes too soon.
Kyle Busch’s impact in NASCAR goes beyond his ability as a driver.
- William Byron
- Christopher Bell
- Bubba Wallace
- Erik Jones
- John Hunter Nemechek
- Todd Gilliland
- Noah Gragson
- Sammy Smith
- Harrison Burton
- Christian Eckes
- Chandler Smith
These active drivers were full-time with Kyle Busch Motorsports. None would be where they are today without KFB.
I really hoped I wouldn’t hear it today but I actually overheard an actual fan complaining to 23XI employees about events being cancelled at the shop.
Please don’t be that person today.
2/2 @DGodfatherMoody they say the fans need to buy a ticket to save their date. Support your local track. Why isn’t it nascar needs to give their fans a race to save their fans? Support their local fans. Why should I spend my money? -Mike in PA
1/2 @DGodfatherMoody thanks for taking my call Dave. It just sucks as a fan knowing you did everything they said to do, and they still took our date. Even if they bring it back, the trust is gone. Why would I want to give my money to a business like that?
NASCAR needs a dominate driver like this, the years of parity haven't allowed stars to shine and this is honestly a perfect storm to have a dominant driver like Tyler Reddick put boots to asses nearly every week.
Two months ago, @TylerReddick was a guy people empathized with and respected. Now, he has apparently become Public Enemy #1; proving again that some of people just can't stand a winner.
