Festive Field Closure Notice

Due to a suspected drain blockage causing a sewage leak, Festive Field is currently closed to the public. Yorkshire Water has been notified and is investigating the issue.

Following deployment of the defibrillator located at the Hare & Hounds for an emergency, local guardian has checked and validated unit as #RescueReady on The Circuit – the network which connects defibrillators to the NHS ambulance service 🚑

The recent community speedwatch event recorded a number of vehicles speeding through our village. The highest recorded speed within the 30mph zone was 54mph.

As a small group of four volunteers we are urgently seeking new members who can spare 1 or 2 hours per month.
