NEW: Multiple federal law enforcement sources tell @FoxNews that the man who was shot and killed by an off-duty FBI agent in Chicago last night was a Venezuelan illegal alien who was seen shooting into a homeless encampment. Per sources, the FBI agent was driving alone when he saw 27-year-old OSCAR D. CORRALES shooting at people in the encampment, and the agent stopped and shot CORRALES, killing him.
Fox is told CORRALES was previously caught and released at the southern border by the Biden administration in October 2023, and he has a previous arrest in California in which he was released from custody with an ICE detainer ignored.

BREAKING UPDATE: SOME WONDERFUL NEWS OUT OF OREGON! 7-YEAR-OLD SCHOOL SHOOTING SURVIVOR IS OUT OF THE ICU!
Little Saylor Graham-Poarch, the 7-year-old girl who was critically injured in the horrific October 15 school shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon.
SAYLOR IS OUT OF INTENSIVE CARE AND IS NOW IN STABLE CONDITION! ❤️
Her family confirmed the incredible news in a statement released Monday, October 26.
Saylor was one of the children inside a special education classroom when a 16-year-old former student opened fire, killing three young boys, ages 5, 8, and 11, along with their 25-year-old teacher, Megan Lambert.
Saylor survived, but her injuries were critical.
This precious little girl was already facing significant challenges before the shooting. She lives with CASK, a rare genetic condition that affects her development. She uses a wheelchair and relies on a tablet to help communicate.
And yet, those who know her describe a little girl with an incredible spirit and a beautiful love for music and dancing.
Now, nearly two weeks after the unimaginable tragedy, her family finally has some encouraging news.
While they acknowledge that Saylor has a long road to recovery, they are grateful that their little girl is still here.
Even in their moment of relief, her family has not forgotten those who lost their lives.
They expressed their heartbreak for the families of the three children and teacher who were killed and thanked everyone who has prayed for Saylor and supported them throughout this nightmare.
Please continue praying for Saylor. Pray for her healing, her recovery, and the strength of her family.
And please remember the families who will never get to bring their loved ones home.
Four innocent lives were stolen that day. We must never forget them.
But today, in the middle of so much heartbreak, there is a reason to celebrate.
Keep fighting, sweet Saylor. An entire nation is cheering you on. ❤️🙏
They pushed it out again. Iryna Zarutska's accused killer was back in a Charlotte courtroom this morning for the hearing that was supposed to finally decide whether prosecutors will seek the death penalty. Instead, the defense and the state agreed Decarlos Brown Jr. is incapable to proceed, and the judge delayed it another 180 days. That's the second six month delay in a row. No answer until next spring. Unacceptable.
Iryna was 23 years old. She escaped a war in Ukraine to find safety in America, and she was stabbed to death on the Charlotte light rail in August 2025. She never had a chance. More than a year later, her family is still waiting and still suffering, and they can't even get an answer on whether the state will ask for the ultimate penalty. A federal judge ruled Brown incompetent back in June, and prosecutors there said medication could restore him in a few months. So why are we still here? Is anybody actually moving this case forward, or are they just wasting time and taxpayer money while this family grieves?
Mental illness doesn't change what happened on that train. It doesn't bring Iryna back, and it doesn't excuse a system that kept turning a man with his record loose on the streets. North Carolina passed Iryna's Law because of her. Now the state needs to stop stalling and deliver justice for her and her family.

Decarlos Brown's Rule 24 hearing has been moved to May 4, 2027.
He was scheduled to be in court in Mecklenburg County today to find out if the state would pursue the death penalty.
But he remains in federal custody so the hearing can't happen.
🔥🚨 JUST IN — DeCarlos Brown Jr., the man who brutally stabbed and murdered Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on the Charlotte light rail, is back in court this morning.
A judge previously ruled him unfit to stand trial and ordered mental evaluations and treatment after state and federal examiners found him incompetent due to severe mental illness.
He is facing both state and federal charges that carry the possibility of the death penalty if he is restored to competency and convicted.
Prosecutors are set to address the death penalty question in today’s hearing while he remains in federal custody at a medical facility.
The unprovoked attack on the CATS Blue Line in August 2025 was caught on video and put the case in the national spotlight. The victim’s family and America continue to wait for any resolution.
