Richard is comics and illustration artist from the West Midlands,
Richard has a distinctive graphic style using various inking techniques
and experience painting scale models.

WHY CAROUSEL HORSES?
Burton was the home of Orton and Spooner, they designed and made fairground rides from the 1890s until the late 1950s. They had an unrivalled reputation in the early part of the 20th century.

Rebecca has been an artist for more than 10 years, she paints streets & buildings using watercolours and ink. Her inspiration for this design came from LS Lowry's "Level crossing Burton on Trent"

MEET THE ARTISTS - Anne-Marie Byrne
HORSE NAME - How many hands is this horse?
She is a Suffolk based artist, who qualified as an archaeologist, then spent many years buried in an office before finally digging up her artistic roots when a public art trail came to Ipswich in 2016.
