NASCAR got so afraid of good drivers winning races that they took every single tool in the driver's arsenal away, leaving us subject to races coming down to aero blocking like today.
NASCAR today is trying its best to destroy everything that made me fall in love with this sport. We need a serious change in direction for anything good to come out of this.
Put things back into the hands of the drivers and get rid of all the gimmicks.
@espn Yes Atlanta this is why we have such a terrible attitude as fans
This and 28-3.
ESPN will keep on rubbing it in as they absolutely hate Atlanta sports teams. All of them!
SORRY IF THIS OFFENDS RESTAURANT OWNERS, BUT THIS HAS GOT TO STOP.
I sat down at a table last night, and there were no physical menus.
Just a laminated QR code taped to the wood.
I had to pull out my phone, scan the code, navigate a laggy menu website, put in my own order, and type in my credit card details.
A runner brought the food to the table 20 minutes later.
Then the digital checkout screen defaulted to a 22% tip prompt.
FOR WHAT?
You eliminated the host, eliminated the server taking orders, forced me to use my own mobile device and cellular data, and then asked for a 22% tip for order entry I completed myself?
THAT IS NOT A HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE.
THAT IS AN UNPAID CUSTOMER WORKFLOW WITH A FORCED TIP PROMPT ATTACHED.
This is my new way of watching @NASCAR.
Thank you @hbomax for the incredible view!
Thank you @PRNlive & @SiriusXMNASCAR for the incredible lap by lap race description!
When you watch the @NASCAROReillyAP Series race and know that it’s the best race you’ll see this weekend, why would you want to make it a point to watch the @NASCAR Cup race on Sunday anymore?
I am completely disconnected from Nascar at this point. I turned it off earlier and I'm coming to the realization that maybe it's too far gone for me to turn it back on. It's sad but kind of freeing at the same time.
