Ahead of @TheTonyAwards Sunday, learn more from my story about how @CarnegieMellon alumni Corey Cott in the leading role and Jen Caprio's costume designs bring @HeartofRNRBway 's high-energy, sherbet-colored 1980s to life: https://t.co/Kgovx3vP8B
Thank you to the nice gentleman at the @AHNtoday West Penn parking cashier!
Instead of sending this to the @PittsburghPG#RandomActOfKindness, I am posting here and gave to @ThePUPNews in his honor:

“(H)aving the students themselves lead this and shape it in the way that they find interesting results in more student engagement" in #sustainability efforts, said @alexhiniker of @sustainCMU, as in this year's @CarnegieMellon Voluntary University Review:

On this gray and rainy Monday morning, thank you to the two little boys dancing at their bus stop on Penn Avenue in Wilkinsburg and making me smile to start my week.
Beyond excited to share: Today is my first day as a writer for the Marketing & Communications department at @CarnegieMellon!
I consider it a privilege to tell the stories of the ambitious students, faculty and staff at the university. No doubt in mind: My heart is in the work.
Two powerhouses in @Acrisure & @ChildrensPgh Foundation came together in this story, so I was happy to work on it, using my combination of #journalism skills and #PR experience, when asked by @PittsburghMag:

I am grateful to @NiemanLab for picking up @PGHindependent’s coverage of The Incline (and pittsburgh media’s) decline, but the feeling is bittersweet, especially as the story was updated to include @WESAconfluence as the latest PGH media casualty. https://t.co/qHMqwGLZC1
A @CMU_Robotics team has created RobotSweater, a machine-knitted textile "skin" that can sense contact and pressure. With cost-effective fabrication using snaps, the work could be implemented in industrial settings as a less bulky safety sensor mechanism.

My latest for @SCSatCMU looks at feedback from Black girls to better understand their interactions with #artificialintelligence.
The team found #AI#STEMeducation should incl. leadership roles (e.g. designers, creators & project leaders) not only coding.

The team presented at @ieee_ras_icra last week and the story was featured in @IEEESpectrum on Friday. 🙌
Congrats to the team, and as always, thanks to @tinynotebook for the opportunity.
SO cool to write about RobotSweater for my latest @SCSatCMU story.
The machine-knitted textile 'skin' can sense contact and pressure when touched using two layers of conductive yarn that closes a circuit. Check it out:
A @CMU_Robotics research team developed a wearable fabric and sensing system that can improve the way robots interact with humans. https://t.co/1OkYLAttFS
