Today, 31K Class 01-22 trained on Domestic Disturbance. This training provides the tools needed for Soldiers to perform their law enforcement duties as a Military Police officer and deescalate hostile situations.
31E Class 07-21 and 31K Class 01-22 received exposure to Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Spray where they demonstrated their abilities to perform tasks while experiencing unfamiliar situations. The Soldiers and Marines learned they can still perform their duties despite adversity.
31E class 07-21 and 31K class 01-22 trained on riot control procedures. Soldiers and Marines learned how to use a riot baton/shield and maneuver in a riot control formation. This training helps Soldiers obtain skills to support team members and quell a rioting crowd.

31K class 01-22 Soldiers were taught about ethics and Law Enforcement Code of conduct. Covering how to conduct law enforcement operations in aligning with the code of conduct, ethical decision making and maintaining professionalism.
Today, the 31E class 07-21 completed Forced Cell Extraction and Prisoner Restraint training. The Soldiers and Marines are now able to properly handle and transport a detainee; ensuring the safety of the law enforcement professional and non compliant subject.
31E Class 07-21 had their cycle phase change ceremony today. The significance of phasing up is that the trainees of Charlie Co are now entrusted with more privileges, proudly displaying that they have completed 14 weeks of initial military training.
C/701 conducted testing on searching procedures for US prisoners/detainees. This is to ensure no contraband is brought into the correctional center, and gives the Soldiers and Marines a chance to look for any form of health issues with the prisoners as well.
31E Class 07-21 conducted M17 training and qualifications this week. This is the first time many Soldiers have fired a pistol for a Law Enforcement certification. All 78 Soldiers passed the qualification standard as either marksman, sharpshooter, or expert marks in this event.
Last week, 31E class 07-21 trained on the authorized restraint and communication techniques to handle a prisoner/detainee. Soldiers and Marines will now be able to confidently apply these techniques to ensure their safety as well as their prisonerβs safety during transportation.
This week Charlie Company filled the 31E Class 07-21. These Soldiers and Marines completed the Army Combat Fitness Test this week. This test is designed to measure the Soldiers fitness and simulate numerous tactical tasks they could encounter while completing their duties.
