The Journal of Teacher Education (JTE) is seeking proposals for a special issue which will build on and extend current scholarship by centering on artificial intelligence (AI) literacy as a teacher-education design problem. The special issue will focus on teacher preparation as a field of inquiry by reframing AI literacy as a design oriented dimension of professional teacher knowledge that must be intentionally cultivated within teacher education.

Is CAEPCon Right for Small Providers?
Nearly 40 percent of CAEP accredited providers are considered small with less than 50 completers a year, some less than 10 completers per year. Being a small provider means facing unique challenges. CAEPCon allows individuals from small schools to network with their peers, from small and large providers and make connections. Many staff from small providers have to wear many hats. CAEPCon allows them time to collaborate, get new ideas and support from CAEP staff and their peers.

CAEP staff will be hosting virtual office hours this summer to work directly with providers. These informal, “come and go sessions”, allow you to join at your convenience to ask questions and receive guidance on submitting the Self Study Report, Addendum, or Rejoinder. There is not a set agenda or training for these small group sessions, they are simply to answer questions and have the opportunity to meet directly with CAEP staff.
Join all of the virtual sessions via this Zoom link: https://t.co/yWmvayTEzx
