@mozingo_84 We’re sorry to hear you feel this way. Based on ridership, this will support needs in addition to alternate options being available for Gold Line customers today. Regular service resumes tomorrow.
🟡 To support increased travel demand for major events in Uptown tonight, CATS is increasing Blue Line service. Today’s Gold Line service will operate every 40 minutes and will end just slightly earlier than normal. Final Gold Line trips: Westbound to French Street: 9:10 p.m.
Eastbound to CTC: 8:55 p.m. (This trip will end at CTC, it will not continue to Sunnyside.) Alternate travel options:
Customers traveling along the Gold Line corridor may still use Bus Route 7 (Beatties Ford) on the west side of Uptown and Bus Route 9 (Central Avenue) on the east side, which serve many of the same destinations. For the most current service information, including updated schedules, system maps and real-time vehicle tracking, please use the CATS-Pass app. Thank you for your patience as we adjust service to safely accommodate the increase in riders expected across the transit system this evening.
Single-tracking between Old Concord and UCB Stations has ended. Normal operations resumed. Expect delays southbound from Old Concord to New Bern Station.
Customers should expect service adjustments during peak service times on the Blue Line between July 13-Aug. 9 to support single-tracking operations while we make repairs along the corridor. No major delays are anticipated for this project, but be sure to check the CATS-Pass app to confirm your ride time.
Customers boarding at Archdale, Tyvola, Woodlawn and Scaleybark Stations should follow directional signage for the appropriate boarding platform.
🟡 Emergency Vehicle blocking Gold Line East bound on Trade and College Street. Streetcars will operate between CTC and Sunnyside Stations. Expect delays.
