@HawkEmDownChris Sam Bradford, after the first ACL slipping in Miami he regressed not navagating the pocket well with a repaired knee. After the 2nd ACL he was a statue back there.
@IpWhn99351@IncreasedOdd@brodo_baggins1 It's simply #'s books don't work off of "everybody knows". Thats why they make money and square bettors always lose in the end.
@IncreasedOdd@brodo_baggins1 The only reason to EVER accept a cash out is lack of money to hedge.
A true fair cash out value would be about $5,500.
Doing the math, current odds of 37-39% chance against OKC + the 99% chance of taking this series would put a payout at a $5,814.
Cash outs are a joke.
@HazelAppleyard I mean it's a literal no brainer. Get to quit my job tomorrow, can now work from anywhere. Get in better shape to where I can do quite a bit in one day. Aside from maybe an injury throwing a wrench in it. Its not even a question.
@SimpEmcee@pencerm Yeah and the smart ones will pick the one that led them to a massive pay day. Guess why, if they dont get a massive paid day, they complete their contract and DONT GET SUED. Rocket science, Im here all week.
@SimpEmcee@pencerm No athlete gives a shit. Sorsby is going to make 3-5 next season its basically math. If Cincy offered them 750k tomorrow they take and hope they have the same issue next year. Good for Brendan, id done the same, expect had TT cover my buyout in my new contract :)
@SimpEmcee@pencerm Great look. No dog is this fight but id be embarrassed for UC if they let a big boy contract go unchecked. This isn't your LOI "contract". Actual $, big boy contract, for the 95% of cfb fans ready to see their team not be new every single year, welcome to the real world Brendan.
@seasidejoenews Ive always had this weird idea (Rams fan). That McVay is so good at they should just grab a rookie QB every 4 years, rinse repeat. You have a bad learning year 1, then 3 years with a loaded rosters bc the rookie deal. Its not the most well thought out idea, but an interesting one
@yafffwe @Doodle2713@NFL_DovKleiman I think in no world would the Lions or Rams go back on this trade knowing what they know now. Rams had a roster a top tier QB away. Lions were stuck in purgatory with a good QB, too good for a high pick, not good enough for playoffs. Win - win, slight edge to the Rams for SB.
@cuselou2@ryanhammer09 Im with you, this team has run an NBA iso offense w/ college kids for too long. It worked in '03 when teams didnt shoot you out of a 2-3 and score 90+ pts. Kiyan was inefficient in hs which will likely carry over. They've needed a coach with an offensive mind for awhile.
@Boenau@beezelbubba On a different note, I've always wonder how much lobbying it took to let 60+ year olds get behind a 4 ton wrecking ball they call an RV. Not so much as an eye exam, let alone a special license.
