Honestly do wonder why Chelsea fans pay attention to rival "fans" calculations about club finances. 99% of the time it's at best wholly inaccurate and at worst ragebait. Just block, mute and move on. There are a couple of accounts in particular that have predicted us to go bust about 3 times in a 5 year spell and all have been miles off.
Period of self reflection has resulted in repeating the same nonsense.
Maignan last summer now Xhaka.
This ownership just don’t value experience or want to sign it.
Remember we apparently tried for Van Dijk and Salah 😂
I got called a conspiracy theorist last summer for saying our ownership don’t actually want experienced players.
Just done the same with Xhaka as they did with Maignan.
Say they want experience but bid absolutely nothing for them because they don’t actually want them. 👍
Update
Xhaka - as i’ve mentioned bid went in, there be no more bids after this
I do expect tweaking.
Yes I’m expecting Xhaka to come 90%
Garnacho - Roma looking at Buy & Loan (as I mentioned earlier)
Santos - said end of season he’d probably go they will accept the right bid
‼️Timeline of Palestra Transfer ‼️
Last weekend Inter were fully in the lead for his signature.
Chelsea made there first move, Inter & Atalanta are informed by Palestra agent of CFC imminent involvement.
Few days past - Thursday, Inter & Atalanta reached a verbal agreement €45m plus €5m in bonuses.
The fatal move happened Inter wanted meet early this week to finalize the bonus structure and the sell-on clause.
Then on Sunday CFC made there verbal offer, one for the club and one for the player.
Yet even this failed to spur Inter into formalizing their proposal, leaving the door open for CFC to make their decisive move.
€57m plus €3m in bonuses to Atalanta.
Tuesday afternoon, Palestra held discussions with Atalanta and his agent, stating that both options were viable for him.
Chelsea determination proved decisive: Chelsea “LED BY ALONSO” changed the situation.
Alonso conveyed his high regard for Palestra during their phone calls, finally convincing him to commit to the Chelsea project.
Inter had been courting him since February.
Chelsea once again demonstrated it still has the ability to blow the competition out of the water with a "simple" swift move.
Completely with Alonso at the Helm.
Well Blues we have a proper Manager at last.
@TheBluesFeed@CFCJacob90 Not a dig at you, but we’ve been reading the same PR 💩 for 4 years.
Every year was meant to be different. It wasn’t. It was worse.
Why is there any confidence in the club, or the fools that “run it”.
Why now?
Imagine being in a 1 v 1 situation as an England winger…defender gets the better of you and blocks your shot when maybe a cross was the better option..so you then gesture to the England fans shouting Vamos Vamos 🤣🤣🤣
