Honestly do wonder why Chelsea fans pay attention to rival "fans" calculations about club finances. 99% of the time it's at best wholly inaccurate and at worst ragebait. Just block, mute and move on. There are a couple of accounts in particular that have predicted us to go bust about 3 times in a 5 year spell and all have been miles off.

I got called a conspiracy theorist last summer for saying our ownership don’t actually want experienced players.

Just done the same with Xhaka as they did with Maignan.

‼️Timeline of Palestra Transfer ‼️

Last weekend Inter were fully in the lead for his signature.

Chelsea made there first move, Inter & Atalanta are informed by Palestra agent of CFC imminent involvement.

Few days past - Thursday, Inter & Atalanta reached a verbal agreement €45m plus €5m in bonuses.

The fatal move happened Inter wanted meet early this week to finalize the bonus structure and the sell-on clause.

Then on Sunday CFC made there verbal offer, one for the club and one for the player.

Yet even this failed to spur Inter into formalizing their proposal, leaving the door open for CFC to make their decisive move.
