-Accents are all over the place, but nobody's saying anything important  so no biggie
-Tin Can Giants. REALLY?
- Gimmick Casting. There seem to be 3 schools of thought:
1) Nolan did it as part of his singular artistic vision;
2) Nolan did it as a brave attempt to be progressive/diversive at the expense of historical accuracy;
3) Nolan did it as a thumb in the eye to some imaginary segment of the movie-going public it might outrage.
BUT
-Here's a 4th possiblity you may not have considered, my dear fellow film fans...
4) Nolan did it because the Academy has diversity guidelines in order to be eligible for OSCARS. Which makes Nolan's casting choices nothing more than a grim exercise in brutal, mercenary, capitalistic, tokenism.

-70mm IMAX Camera and movie is mostly medium shots of therapy sessions on beaches
-Anti-Epic. No heroes. Just bumblers and schemers.
-No SIRENS. Central to story. We neither SEE, nor HEAR, them. This is Anti-Cinema
-CYCLOPS is out of focus, unimaginatively designed, and the same color as the walls of his cave
-SCYLLA looks like a dollar-store knockoff of the worms in TREMORS
-And....Fred Ward (from TREMORS) was more masculine & heroic in that film than  MattDysseus wallowing in shame/regret
-Charlize looks like an alien from PLANET BOTOX
-Tom Holland still (and always) looks like he's hiding a frog in his mouth
-Sean Avery is great but under-used
