Cheney Technical High School in Manchester won its first ever state championships this spring! The Chargers won spring Esports titles at Quinnipiac in Super Smash Bros. As of March 25, Kratom is a Schedule 1 controlled substance in state, meaning it is illegal to sell in CT. A group of students from Southington High School, including runner Katie Cavanaugh, helped by voicing their concerns to legislators in Hartford. Katie is graduating this spring and will be attending CCSU where she will continue her academics and running career. #cttrack

Darien High School junior Vivian Knott has been named the 2026 CT Gatorade Softball Player of the Year!

Vivian has a 0.21 ERA this season with 244 strikeouts.

She has a 3.92 GPA and has made a verbal commitment to play softball on scholarship at Stanford University beginning in the fall of 2027. #ctsb @DHSbluewave
