The NCCK has urged the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) to put in place protocols to curtail corruption and unethical behavior before, during and after the 2027 General Elections.
"It is of absolute importance that the Commission develops a protocol for monitoring campaign spending by political actors and follow them to demand for sources of the money", Rev Canon Chris Kinyanjui, the NCCK General Secretary, implored, before adding, "the Commission must distinguish between legitimate campaign financing from proceeds of corruption, money laundering, and theft of public resources."

Congratulations, Prof. Mombo, on your installation as the 4th Vice Chancellor of St. Paul's University! It's a proud moment for the SPU and for NCCK. May God grant you wisdom and strength as you lead St. Paul's into this new chapter. May the LORD bless you.
Democratic space is rarely lost all at once — it slips away quietly, one compromise at a time, and the antidote is participation: we secure peace by showing up, asking the hard questions, and standing up for our country.

Rev. Canon Chris Kinyanjui: Goons operated alongside the police, particularly during the protests, resulting in loss of life and damage to property. Compensation for the victims is only a step in the right direction towards achieving accountability and justice #CitizenDayBreak
Today, I had the honour of taking my oath of office before @UN Secretary-General @antonioguterres as Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna and Executive Director of @UNODC.
In taking this oath, I am reminded that international civil service is, above all, a commitment to people. As I solemnly declared my dedication to carry out these functions with integrity, impartiality, and the utmost regard for the purposes and principles of the United Nations, I reflected on the responsibility that comes with this trust.
I step into this role with humility, gratitude and a profound sense of duty, and look forward to working with colleagues and partners across the UN system, and the world to advance peace, security, justice and the rule of law, for a more prosperous and dignified future for all.
A partnership rooted in impact ✨

On the sidelines of the AU Executive Council Meeting in Addis Ababa, we officially launched Kenya’s candidature of Judge Phoebe Okowa to the International Court of Justice for the full 2027–2036 term, a moment that reflects both national pride and Africa’s growing voice in shaping global justice.
Elected in November 2025, Prof. Okowa made history as the first Kenyan, the first African woman, and only the eighth woman globally to serve on the ICJ bench, a remarkable milestone that continues to inspire a new generation of African legal minds.
As Kenya, we will actively engage and rally the support of our African colleagues to ensure Judge Okowa continues contributing her outstanding scholarship, deep experience in international law, and global perspective for the benefit of our continent and the international community.
I was joined by Prof. @Profshaukat, Principal Secretary for Science, Research and Innovation, Ambassador Galma Boru, and Deputy Ambassador @PetronilaWere, as we advanced this important continental engagement.
