CLE notifies candidates whose registration numbers appear in CLE General Notice No. 29 of 2026 to log in to the CLE Candidate Portal and verify their personal details by Friday, 18th September 2026, before gazettement in October 2026.

✅ Full name (correct spelling and order)
✅ National ID/Passport Number
✅ Nationality

If you notice any errors, submit a Request for Information Change through the Candidate Portal. If your details are correct, no further action is required.

As part of its statutory mandate to regulate, license, and supervise legal education providers in Kenya, CLE has conducted an on-site inspection at Egerton University School of Law.

The inspection was led by CLE Quality Assurance, Compliance and Licensing (QCL) Committee and officers from the Directorate of Standards, Licensing, Supervision and Compliance.

CLE delegation was received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Prof. Bernard Aduda, representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac O. Kibwage.

The inspection focused on key areas including regulatory compliance, quality assurance, curriculum implementation, moot court, library resources, infrastructure and other requirements necessary for the delivery of quality legal education and training in Kenya.
