It was a Good Friday in Camp Washington for the groundbreaking of the first skatepark in Cincinnati! Creating more public spaces in neighborhoods for folks to come together and connect strengthens our communities, and I’m proud to have played a part in such a project!

Today was President Pro Tem Victoria Parks’ final Cincinnati City Council meeting. At the end, we took a moment to honor her contributions to Cincinnati as a Councilmember, Hamilton County as a County Commissioner, and our nation during her time in the Air Force.
To achieve of our City’s goals of renewed investment in our communities, we must leverage partnerships with organizations like the Port, CDF, @PriceHillWill, and Nehemiah Manufacturing and local developers like Kaiker to bring investment to all 52 neighborhoods of Cincinnati.
With the opening of the newly renovated State Ave lofts, 12 new affordable units have been added to Lower Price Hill, and 12 new families will have a safe and secure home to call their own.
By empowering our youth to plan and prepare for their future, this first of its kind Center is helping to create the next generation of Cincinnati leaders and lifting up the entire community.
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati just cut the ribbon on their new Workforce Development Center in West Price Hill - the first stand alone Center in Ohio! Preparing our teens for the future and guiding them along their path to success is vital today more than ever.
I created the Community Investment Subcommittee to serve as a forum for neighborhood stakeholders to proactively engage on what future development may look like to chart a viable path forward. Together, we can bring about the development our neighborhoods want and our city needs.

With 747 total trees planted in neighborhoods across our community, Madtree and their partners at the City are committed to building a more beautiful, vibrant Cincinnati.
It was great to join @MadTreeBrewing, @cincyrec , and @CincyParks for their Let’s Grow Local tree planting yesterday. 128 new trees were planted in the West End, helping increase tree canopy coverage and neighborhood beautification efforts.
No better way to spend the evening than a walking tour in Camp Washington! CWURC has helped rehab 16 properties throughout the Neighborhood Business District, including commercial and residential units that will contribute to the growth and revitalization of the neighborhood.
