2026 ஜூன் மாதத்தில் 96.75 லட்சம் பயணிகள் சென்னை மெட்ரோ இரயில்களில் பயணம் செய்துள்ளனர்

சென்னை மெட்ரோ இரயில் நிறுவனம், சென்னையில் உள்ள மக்களுக்கும், மெட்ரோ இரயில்பயணிகளுக்கும் போக்குவரத்து வசதியை அளித்து வருவதோடு நம்பக தன்மையான பாதுகாப்பான வசதியைவழங்கி வருகிறது. அந்த வகையில் 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் மாதத்தில் 96,75,993 பயணிகள் மெட்ரோஇரயில்களில் பயணித்துள்ளத���க மெட்ரோ இரயில் நிர்வாகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
��திகபட்சமாக 24.06.2026 அன்று 3,77,208 பயணிகள் மெட்ரோ இரயில்களில் பயணம் செய்துள்ளனர்.
2026, ஜூன் மாதத்தில் மட்டும் சிங்கார சென்னை அட்டையை (தேசிய பொது இயக்க அட்டை)பயன்படுத்தி 48,83,485 பயணிகள், க்யுஆர் குறியீடு (QR Code) பயணச்சீட்டு முறையைப் பயன்படுத்தி(Single Journey Paper QR 19,28,372; Online QR – 1,27,795; Static QR 2,03,398; Whatsapp - 4,29,255; Paytm 2,90,492; ONDC – 12,13,854; PhonePe – 2,63,433; CMRL Mobile App(SVP) 80,224; Chennai One App – 2,46,608; Vijay Antony Music Concert Event QR – 9,077) பயணிகளும் மெட்ரோ இரயில்களில் பயணம் செய்துள்ளனர்.
சென்னை மெட்ரோ இரயில் நிறுவனம், Digital SVP, க்யுஆர் குறியீடு (OR Code) பயணச்சீட்டு, Whatsapp - ([phone]), Paytm App, PhonePe மற்றும் சிங்கார சென்னை அட்டை போன்றபயணச்சீட்டுகளை பயன்படுத்தி மெட்ரோ இரயில்களில் பயணிப்பவர்களுக்கு 20% கட்டணத் தள்ளுபடியைவழங்குகிறது. மெட்ரோ இரயில் நிலையங்களில் உள்ள பயணச்சீட்டு கவுண்டர்களில் வாங்கப்படும் ஒற்றைப்பயணத்துக்கான காகித QR பயணச்சீட்டுகளுக்கு (Single Journey Paper QR tickets) இந்தத் தள்ளுபடிகிடையாது.
மெட்ரோ இரயில்கள் மற்றும் மெட்ரோ இரயில் நிலையங்களை பராமரிப்பதில் மிகுந்த ஒத்துழைப்புநல்கிவரும் அனைத்து பயணிகளுக்கும் சென்னை மெட்ரோ இரயில் நிர்வாகத்தின் சார்பில் மனமார்ந்த நன்றி.

96.75 lakh passengers recorded to have travelled in June, 2026

CMRL has always endeavored to provide the people of Chennai a safe,efficient and reliable travel partner. A total of 96,75,993 passengers have travelled in the Metro Trains from 01.06.2026 to 30.06.2026. And June 24, 2026 recorded the highest passenger flow per day of June, 2026 with 3,77,208 passengers.

CMRL offers a 20% discount on ticketing Services like NCMC Card and all digital QR tickets like Whatsapp - ([phone]), Paytm, PhonePe and digital store value pass exclusively available in CMRL Mobile App. Except Single journey Paper QR tickets purchased at ticketing counters.

CMRL promptly extended medical assistance to a passenger, Mr. Arumugam, who experienced a medical emergency while travelling from Guindy. On arrival at Saidapet Metro Station, station staff immediately attended to the passenger, provided first aid, and arranged emergency medical assistance. The passenger was subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

CMRL remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its passengers through timely emergency response and assistance.

Polio Immunization Campaign:

A Polio Immunization Campaign is being conducted today until 17:00 hrs at the following Chennai Metro stations:

Tollgate,Vadapalani,New washermenpet,Thiyagaraya college,Arignar Anna Alandur,Wimco nagar,Washermenpet,Highcourt and Egmore Metro Station.

Parents and guardians travelling with children in the eligible age group are encouraged to make use of this facility and help protect every child against polio.

Passengers can now resume using the online ticketing services.

At 13.34hrs a passenger had jumped on the track while a metro train was arriving at the ekkatuthangal metro station

The passenger has been safely recovered, first aid provided at the station and immediately sent to nearest Hospital.

Hence, metro trains on the Green Line had a 10 minute delay.

Metro Train Services have been normalised in the Green Line.

Chennai Metro Train Services have been slightly delayed on Green Line due to a Technical issue. Due to this, Metro train will run with a short delay by 10 minutes.

CMRL has engaged the necessary technical teams to rectify the glitch on war footing basis.

செனாய் நகர் மெட்ரோ, திரு.வி.க. பூங்காவில் சர்வதேச யோகா தினம் கொண்டாட்டம்!
சர்வதேச யோகா தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு, சென்னை மெட்ரோ இரயில் நிறுவனம், Rotary Club of Madras North உடன் இணைந்து, பொதுமக்கள் அனைவரும் பயன்படும் வகையில் இன்று (21.06.2026)காலை ஒரு சிறப்பு இலவச யோகா நிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்தியது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சி செனாய் நகர் மெட்ரோ அருகில்உள்ள திரு.வி.க.பூங்காவில் உள்ள திறந்தவெளி அரங்கில் (Amphitheatre) காலை 6:00 மணி முதல் 8:00மணி வரை நடைபெற்றது. பொதுமக்கள் அனைவரும் எந்தவித சிரமமும் இன்றி எளிதாகப் பங்கேற்கும்வகையில், இந்த யோகா பயிற்சி இரண்டு தனித்தனி பிரிவுகளாக நடத்தப்பட்டது.
தினசரி ஆரோக்கியத்தை மேம்படுத்தவும், நோய் எதிர்ப்புச் சக்தியை அதிகரிக்கவும், மனஅழுத்தத்தைக் குறைக்க உதவும் எளிய யோகா பயிற்சிகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ள பொதுமக்கள் தங்களதுகுடும்பத்தினருடன் ஆர்வத்தோடு கலந்துகொண்டனர்.
இந்த ஆரோக்கியமான முயற்சி மிகச் சிறந்த வெற்றியைப் பெற உறுதுணையாக இருந்த Rotary Club of Madras North அமைப்பிற்கும், ஆர்வத்துடன் கலந்துகொண்ட அனைத்து பொதுமக்களுக்கும்சென்னை மெட்ரோ இரயில் நிறுவனம் தனது மனமார்ந்த நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்���ுக்கொள்கிறது!

International Yoga Day Celebrated at https://t.co/SQUPenOFiS.Ka.Park, Shenoy Nagar Metro

To celebrate International Yoga Day, Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) in association with Rotary Club of Madras North together organized a free special morning yoga event for the public today (June 21, 2026).
The event was held in open air at the Amphitheatre located at https://t.co/hWmFH99LsZ.Ka.Park (Shenoy Nagar Metro) between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM. To accommodate all the participants, the yoga session was split into two separate batches, making it easy for everyone to join.

A large number of Chennai residents turned up with their families to learn simple yoga practices aimed at improving daily health, boosting immunity, and reducing stress. CMRL thanks the Rotary Club of Madras North and all the enthusiastic participants who joined in to make this health and wellness initiative a massive success!
